I purchased my laser sessions through Groupon and I’m not sure if their attitude was because of this or overall this their way of caring for their customers.
I have waited 3 sessions to write this review so it’d be fair. When I first went in for my laser session, they took me in a room where the machine looked slight different than the other ones(candela) I’ve seen before. When the person started applying the gel on my face I asked, if they didn’t have candela machines and she said, they recently switched all their machine to the gel ones as these give a lot better result than candela. I said okay and we proceeded with the session. During the fist session I had a little bit of grown hair on my upper lip which where I had the treatment for and the lady told me that the hair will start falling 3 weeks after the session and I should go back on the 4/5 week for the second session.
So I waited 3 weeks for the hair to start falling and not even 1 single hair fell. So I went in for the second time and explained to the lady that no hair had fallen up until now and I was feeling very uncomfortable with my visibly long upper lip hair. She tells me.. upper lip takes a while to respond to the treatment, you need to wait at least 4-6 sessions to start seeing any results.. which is a complete lie. Why? Well, I had already done 6 sessions on my upper lip with candela machine somewhere else!!! So I know how the whole process works. I told her that I’m not sure if the gel method is working on my hair type. She suggest I shave my upper lip wit a ‘razor’. I said I’m not sure if I want to risk having my hair grow back thicker and she defends that it’s not true What I said about the razor, I need to go ahead and shave in order to see the result. Sure enough, I go home and do it. The worst decision of my life. I am so mad over this that I can even take legal action to have them realize the consequences of lying to someone. My upper lip hair grew back like I a man’s mustache.. it was a nightmare. I didn’t know what to do but was feeling terribly self concise about my facial look.
So I call them to speak with someone about this issue. I explained them what happened and wanted to cancel my sessions. She tells me if I would be interested in trying candela machines???!!! That’s what have been asking since the day one and I was told they only had gel machines! I tell them yes that’s what I would love to do, she takes a note on the system and reschedules my next appointment with candela machine. I go in for my appointment a few weeks after my phone call. The lady takes me into the room and starts applying the gel again... I say no, stop and explain her what I had discussed with them over the phone and the answer I get back is ‘the candela machine broke down this morning and they are not sure if it can be fixed or not’. No one called me saying tha machine broke down and don’t come all the way here. They made me to go there so they could tell me in person the machine broke down?! So the lady tells me if the machine can not be fixed she will refund me and if it can be fixed she will call me the following week to reschedule. This was the fist weeks of December and still I have not heard from them. I’ll take further action in this matter. It is not about the money but principal. But now my kids only know I am angry when I raise my voice as I am no longer able to give "the look". But I can't go back to life without it now. I'll never go back to doing an impersonation of a Sharpei each time I am excited/angry or sad. Flawless has me for life. As I have decided to not go down without a fight. I've also had lip filler. I used to have big juicy lips in my younger years. Maybe I was better hydrated then, but my lips have started to look like a child's shriveled balloon a week after her birthday party. So I requested a natural look, actually terrified to have the ridiculous Lisa Renna look, and that's what I got, the natural look. Mary had restored how my lips used to look perfectly. Mary says she a nurse but I swear she's an artist that uses needles instead of brushes. I also had laser hair removal ( I'm in deep, send help) with, umm, I can't remember her name but she has hair the color of blue cotton candy and a decorative bull ring through her nose. She was very professional, reassuring and a nice girl. So there I am getting my lady parts getting zapped by what feels like a futuristic torture device, but with a cool tip, trying not to either scream or punch the cotton candy haired girl in the face. She must have seen the pain registering on my face and asked if I needed a break. Yes please, but then I ask for more. What is wrong with me? Not sure. But I know what's right. This place. This the place is right. I have referred several people wanting to go full out Kardashian and broads like myself who need a little professional help with up keep. They give you points for each person that refers you and Lord knows I'm going back they have a ton of upkeep potions, tricks & machines to keep you looking your best there. Read moreAfter many years as a client, I’ve decided to move on from Flawless Medspa. I frequently went in for lip filler because the results didn’t last more than two months, and I often ended up with lumps. I assumed this was normal for my lips.
Recently, I visited a new medspa for a second opinion. They explained that I have an M shaped lip, which can be more challenging to inject and really requires someone with advanced experience. They also suggested a lip flip instead of more filler and were surprised by how frequently I had been receiving treatments. Most notably, they pointed out that my filler had migrated under my lip something that was never mentioned at Flawless.
I want to say that my injector at Flawless has always been very kind, personable, and clearly cares about her clients. I think she’s a great person I just don’t believe she has the specific experience needed to handle an M shaped lip properly. It feels, in retrospect, like the treatments were more routine than customized to my unique anatomy.
