The Knot Hole — Attraction in Burnet

Update: I made it back to the store yesterday and walked in at 4:15pm. A lady met us as we walked in and said hi ladies, we’re closing in 15 minutes. My friend and I looked at each other and turned and walked out. Unbelievable that not once but twice get this kind of customer service and by two different people. Your store is seriously lacking customer service skills in my opinion. I never wanted to give a one star but you definitely deserve it at this point. The way I see it you don’t want people’s business.

I’m visiting from out of state and we stopped at the Knot Hole about 4:45 pm Sunday. I hadn’t noticed their hours of operation but did notice the lights on and the automatic door opened. As soon as we walked in the lady said sorry we’re closed. We said ok and left… as an antique store owner myself in another state I was a little disappointed that we were cut off at the very beginning. If you’re closed then lock the doors. But just food for thought staying open another few more minutes to make some sells is probably worth that extra time spent there. We stopped at several antique stores Sunday and not one place did we just look around… we bought several things. I don’t want to give a 5 ⭐️ because we wasn’t given the chance to see what you had. I also don’t want to give a 1 ⭐️ because I know how detrimental that can be to a business. Just know there’s room for a little improvement. I drove down to get buy some dishes - Blue Danube - for a friend. Was going to buy all they had. I carried a stack of plates to the checkout counter and asked the clerk if I could leave them there for a minute while I looked around. She replied, “No, You can get a cart and push them around.” I put them in a cart, but they rattled and I didn’t want them chipped, plus I didn’t like her attitude. Love love love this flea market. It’s clean, fun, and it’s indoors so you won’t sweat yourself to death in the summer or freeze in the winter. They have a good variety of vintage/antique/new items. Not like most “flea markets” you go into and there’s no antiques anywhere must clothes and purses. It’s actually fun to walk around here and find treasures. They have shopping buggies so you don’t have to carry all of your things. The staff is friendly and there’s also a clean restroom, it’s an old building so they do their best to keep it up. You’re bound to find something that your heart desires at...
