This place is awesome and was keto friendly with tons of options for a keto/low carb lifestyle!
I was invited here by a coworker and while waiting for her to arrive went to order a coffee. The first thing I noticed was that there were way more sugar free options than typical coffee shops have. I was excited about the variety and made a comment about that to the cashier, who happened to be the owner. She started up a conversation with me and recommended some low carb/keto friendly options. For the first time in almost 5 years of being keto/low carb, I actually got a caramel iced coffee that was phenomenal! It was truly really delicious and I was very impressed. There was no lack in flavor or taste at all and they even let me pour my own heavy cream in to my own desired consistency/taste.
The owner was extremely welcoming, gave great advice and tips on what to order and shared some great options on their menu! While I didn't order any food, I was very tempted to! She really made a point to talk to me and share her story about why having some keto options on the menu was important to them. The chicken salad sounds so good (and I believe she said was less than 1g net carbs!) and I will definitely be giving it a try next time I visit!
They serve keto cookies, sandwiches, salads, and drinks and they even have keto chips! How cool and rare to find! I was impressed with the selection, quality and taste and highly recommend visiting Unshakable Grounds especially if you follow a low carb/keto lifestyle!
I couldn't wait to try it out, so I had a few large sips before I even got to the table to...
Read moreThey claim to be Christians but they just don't seem like Christians to me. I love Jesus Christ and I was very surprised at how I felt leaving this place. Maybe my son and I are just not the right color of Christians for them. I have no doubt that the favorable reviews I have read reflect accurate experiences for the people for the people who wrote them, but I suspect that these people are family and friends who are know well to the owners but what reward have we in heaven for treating those who are close to us well? Do not those who practice evil do as much? I have only gone to this coffee shop two times. The first time my son and I had a cup of coffee and the second time we had a sandwich and a cup of coffee. Both were adequate, but there is another coffee shop in town where we have gone as well. Those folks do not profess to be Christians, but they sure are friendly and they made us feel very welcome. I think I will keep going to the other coffee shop and maybe they will be interested in hearing what Jesus has done for me there. I will also keep unshakable grounds in my...
Read moreI’ve been here many times and there’s been little issues here and there but nothing incredibly negative. Overall, I prefer to support this location over others in town. However, today I was really confused by the service. I walked in and waited at the counter for a few minutes. The barista and the cashier both looked at me and said nothing. So I told myself “they must be fulfilling someone else’s order. Go have a seat.” Well, while I’m sitting other people arrive and they receive immediate service and recognition. “We will be right with you.” Is what I kept hearing. This is all I needed to hear in order to avoid feeling intentionally disregarded. I suggest that the owner works on this with...
