I was blown away with the inventory they had ready to ship close to closing time on a Friday! Got the part on order that I needed, and even had an ACTUAL PERSON step in and help via chat box. Answered all my questions from Shipping cut offs, to Tech questions fast! A++++ I'll be back to do more with these guys soon! UPDATE* 4/11/23 HORRID EXPERINCE after sending order. **Also, ShopJimmy manages and deletes any review on their website that isnt a stellar one. I left a respectful poor review and they deleted. Lovely experience clicking on a website placing my order.... But once I placed my order, I realized these reviews are either fake or I must have angered someone at ShopJimmy. ShopJimmy did ship the product same day as promised, but the package ended up arriving late due to shopjimmy's ship dept. label machine running low on ink and label barely being legible. Once it arrived, the Shark Vac Chassis I ordered arrived damaged beyond use. Not shipping damage, Damage from long time use, and VERY APARENT DAMAGE. Not something that could have slipped by packaging or ShopJimmy Quality Dept (If one exsists) The HEPA filter lid would not even snap into place and just fell off when I pulled it out of the package, and massive crack through the body of chassis, Spring loaded Hose connection was flapping back and forth because the spring was broken off and rattling around inside the unit, and there was a massive hole next to the hose auxiliary port. Yes, this was a "Used" unit, but there was a note stating "These Shark vacuum parts are from the largest Shark-authorized refurbisher, and may have scuffs and scratches which will not affect functionality. All brushes and other tools have been thoroughly cleaned or refurbished as needed." SO, I requested an RMA and received an AUTO GENERATED Return authorization. I tried to give ShopJimmy another Shot by asking them to check inventory, and ship me a functional replacement and asked them to either discount the unit, or ship the replacement via expedited ship method.. There Chat sales team acted like I was a bother, I enclosed a letter with the return and wrote to ShopJimmy via email. After writing a poor review on their website I did receive a responce only saying how they are going to rush my refund to me, completely ignoring my offer for them to replace and redeem themselves.. Did they not respond because they did not read my email? Do they really not have any viable replacements, yet continue to show inventory and ship other customers? Read moreNOT FIVE STARS Five Stars does not justify my order from SHOPJIMMY. I purchased a Shark Vertex Ultralight Stick DuoClean Vacuum in June 2023. Approximately 3 months ago, in a day of intense cleaning, throwing out old magazines and junk from two teens under the bed accumulation, I decided to wash out the dust container. So as to thoroughly dry it out, laid it on top of paper towels in the laundry room. The next morning, the teens took all the trash bags to the curb for pickup. Needless to say the dust container likely became part of throw-out-debri day! I researched on where or how to get the much needed container. When I found online where ShopJimmy carried this vs Shark Manufacturing, believe me I was very skeptical. I see online where so many scams are fluient, especially when providing your credit card information or what if the item doesn't exist and I never receive it. Well, it was a very nice surprise when I ordered this dust container from SHOPJIMMY January 6, 2025 and received it January 10, 2025! Not only that... when I placed my order I received a couple of emails thanking me for ordering plus emails when it was shipped and on its way. Now that is genuine customer service. Read moreWe took a lightning strike a while back that wrecked numerous electronics in our home.
Among the damaged was a Samsung UN70 inch and UN65 inch tv. Both manufactured in 2022.
I purchased new tvs to replace these but kept the old ones because they were so new and I was curious if they could even be worked on DYI. I knew I’d never pay to have them repaired, not cost effective.
Both of them were the same. Wouldn’t power on nor was there a red light on the power button.
I had read that it was most likely the power supply board that was damaged but could also be the main circuit board.
So I went to ShopJimmy and ordered the complete repair kit for each given the price seemed so reasonable.
I had also purchased a plastic tool to remove the back of the tv on Amazon.
It’s crazy that at least on these Samsung tvs the back and the two circuit boards have no screws so actually performing the task of replacing these boards couldn’t have been easier.
I’m happy to report that both of these tvs were repaired and are working great. Both had blown power supply boards and one had the main board bad as well.
So I replaced an older 50 inch I had in my bedroom with the 65 inch and replaced my son’s bedroom tv with the 70 inch so he could play his Xbox on it.
To be able to repair two tvs for about a hundred bucks seems like a very good deal to me.
