Nice spot! My wife and I went there for a date night. We will go back! Starting at a five star scale, Ill take one away if there are two things I think they could do better. So, only two little things in this case.
Service: Very good. The staff was attentive, polite, and informative. We didn’t feel rushed, which was very nice.
Food: We ordered a bunch of tapas. Flavor was good. We had to ask for bread to soak up the delicious sauce... sounds snobby I know, but having to ask for bread at a place like that was one of the very small reasons I didnt give 5 stars. They should give it to you or at least ask.
Atmosphere: Nice and clean. Not bad if you dont mind being close to others... its a little tight for me. Id make a reservation for a more private table. It wasn’t not romantic, just not private romantic. We had nice conversation with our neighbors. They were returning customers. (They also asked for bread after they saw us ask.)
Price: There was something keeping me from giving it 5 stars, and Id say this was it. The portions didn’t quite do the price justice. Close... maybe four more bites per plate and I would’ve been satisfied. I am not a stuff my self full at the buffet kinda guy. Im also not cheap when it comes to dining out. Ill gladly pay out for a meal thats worth it. We had 5 plates and our BYOB wine (we got last min from the place next door, nice!). Plus tip was about $76.
Again,...

The Service: The staff was great and my waitress was attentive. In fact I was served by multiple waiters. It shows that they really care about the customer and giving them great service that they deserve.
I was 30 minutes late to my reservation and failed to give a curtiousy call to let them know. Upon arrival after letting the staff know my reservation time, I felt like I did not belong there from they way I was spoken to. This was because I was late and I was told I had to leave the restaurant in an 1 hour and 15 minutes for the next reservation. This was no problem for me, it's just the way and tone I was spoken to like I did not belong there anymore. This put my Valentine's night on edge.
I did talk to that staff member after my dinner and had a constructive conversation and explained how I felt and she listened. The conversation could have taken a turn for the worse but I felt we were on the same page towards the end.
Overall I was wrong to not give a curtiousy call but I felt I should have been should have been...
Read moreSo I will probably never go back. I'm from Galicia and the food is mediocre at best. We ate garlic shrimp that had no taste. They just had oil and no garlic. Big fail. The pimientos de picadillo were filled w a lump of cheese which specified it as tetilla. I don't think it was tetilla. I didn't like the pimientos. They need to be fried or baked. The worst dish of the night. The patatas bravas were ok. Nice n spicy. The empanada de pollo had minced chicken. Never have I eaten an empanada w chicken when there are so many different and delicious possible recipes but it was ok. Then we also had the croquetas which didn't taste like anything but the dipping sauce made them edible. The last entree was raxo. It was ok as well. I had flourless chocolate cake. It was too rich and I couldn't finish. The tarta d Santiago was gritty. You're not supposed to taste the almond . It's supposed to be grinded finely into a powder. Lastly, who goes to a Spanish restaurant and there's no espresso? Anyway, any Galician household can outdo this place. Disappointed. The service was good and the food came...
