You need a manager in your store at all times! I bought a $10 PSN voucher yesterday and when I went home to use it, my system wouldn’t let me. After dealing with PlayStation support I was told it was an inactive card. So after three trips to the store, Emmalee and I determined she would not be able to help me. This is by no means a review on Emmalee. She did great to the best of her abilities. But had a manager been in store, I wouldn’t have had to make 4 trips to the store. Tonight a manager was able to get a hold of their customer support who managed to put a new code on a receipt for me. GameStop needs to do better as a company and hire dedicated people for their stores. Hell, the manager I dealt with tonight had to open a store elsewhere today and close the one in owosso. I was in before Christmas and had "reserved" a new game that had come out that week. I went in like 6 days later to pick it up, and they let me know that reservations actually only hold the item for 24 hours. (This was totally MY fault for not realizing this, and I should've known that because I never paid for it online). Anyways, turns out they were actually out of stock, but the gentlemen were super friendly and one of them called two different stores to make sure and find it for me! They didn't have to do that and could've just said: "yeah sorry, we're out of stock." But they made sure to find a location where I could pick it up. My son spent his hard earned money on a fighter pass for the WII switch for his older brother for Christmas and being a kid he didn't know to keep the receipt for the code and wasn't told to by the employees, so like any other kid he threw it away. That being said we went back in not to get a refund but asked to just get a reprint of the receipt. We knew the day and the time that we went so it wouldn't have been a hard search for it, of course we were told no. I understand that they have to make their money but to knowingly cheat a child out of their money is messed up. I hope that everyone that reads this knows that this gamestop is not only higher on their prices but they don't do anything to help...
