Aptos Village County Park — Attraction in California

No ticks, leeches, or tweakers. Clean bathrooms. Well maintained and regular garbage pick up. Not impressed with parking management situation for less affluent locals when the Clubhouse is in use. They should eminent domain and tear down the Swenson building, knock it down and build a separate public event space, well lit 24/7 RV tank dump, shower and bathroom facility, a concrete slide like Cordonices, expand the parking and put a bridge over the creek so kids can pretend to fish and dogs can bark at their reflections. Should remove the dusk till dawn rule and leave it open and add a French drain around the field...

Lovely park. It's overrun with dogs unfortunately (l saw at least one sign that forbids dogs in play areas). Unleashed dogs walking around everywhere without their owners around even. I'm adding photos as examples. People also let their dogs bark constantly creating noise pollution in an otherwise peaceful setting. Wish people would be more considerate of the place and took better care of their animals by not letting them walk around everywhere. It's not a dog park. There is not much to this spot. No playground, or picnic area with bbq grills. Just a big open grassy field. There is a clubhouse building for use by RSVP that has a large bbq and a few tables and benches. A few short trails that lead to Aptos Creek. It's just before the entrance to Nisenne Marks Forrest and there are not many people here on average. They do have public restrooms but...
