Kirby Cove is a real treasure. The hike down takes about 20-30 minutes and then you are treated the spectacular ocean and view of the Golden Gate bridge. This is is a MUST stop if you're in the area. Most tourists stay at the overlook and miss being able to see how beautiful this cove is.

While staying at the Kirby Cove campground, this is a great piece of history to see and explore. Some picnic tables are on top of the bunker which make it a lovely picnic setting with views of the city.

The view is amazing once you arrive down there. Shouldn’t take you more than 25 min. Unfortunately the secret swing was gone .. they cut the whole tree so no one can put it up again. Probably „too dangerous“ .. but everyone has a gun in the USA ! Jaja...
