A friend asked me to post for them. FROM NEXTDOOR POST: So my husband asked if I wanted to go out to dinner Friday evening and said "hey! Let's go to Mikuni's!" I was feeling Bento Box in Loehmans Plaza, one of my favorites. Needless to say, we went to Bento Box and we will never go back. They have changed owners or something. We were served miso soup in stryofoam cups with plastic spoons. (no tofu or green onions in our soup) We ordered one plate of tempura shrimp and veggies to share. Cost with no drinks was $27. The plate came with a small roll and we always have the shrimp tempura roll. An hour later, our plate was delivered and it was not edible. The veggies were deep fried in heavy FLOUR, soaking in oil. (What happened to the panko?)The tempura shrimp were the long skinny frozen shrimp from Costco that have more flour on them with minimal shrimp. The roll was rice, seaweed and the same shrimp. Nothing else. Everyone in the place was furious by the time we left stating out loud that they would never be back. I don't know how they thought they could get away with serving such sub-par food and horrendous service at outrageous prices. While we were there, the table next to us had been waiting over an hour and had the wrong food brought to them twice, a gentleman who was there when we walked in was served the wrong food and waiting much longer than an hour. He was furious an stated he would never come back. It was seriously the most awful experience ever. There is no way they can stay in service with food that tastes awful to the point you can't even eat it, crazy expensive prices and horrible service. I am a bit heartbroken as that has been a family favorite for years. We won't be going back. We were literally shocked at how bad everything was from the moment we walked in the door. Sigh.... thought you oughta know in case you are thinking of heading over for one of your long time faves. Save your money and stress levels and go...

The Loehmann’s Plaza is my one stop shop haven. Good and safe area to do your shopping, dining, indulging in desserts, getting massages, banking needs, pets including wild bird services, health and wellness services, and a UPS for all of your packages/returns. I’ve never had a bad experience here at any shop. ❤️ My favorite Plaza 🫶🏼

I made a list of stores for you:

There are some great businesses in this shopping center. Grocery Store, (SaveMart), Food (Noah's Bagels, Beach Hut Deli, Cookie Connection, Jack's, Nothing Bundt Cake, and more), there is also a Sport Clips, even a pet store and so much more!! The MAJOR issue with this shopping center is its parking lot. When busy cars (even parked ones) can create a blind corner, and some of the curves and turns in the lot seem really narrow. (You can easily fit two cars side by side but people tend to gravitate to the center making it difficult and frustrating.) | With that in mind Rush Hour is a nightmare, but is worth the headache of the parking lot to get some shopping done and even some snacks or dessert for dinner while you are there.

Note: The location had a large retail store named "Loehmann's" and that has since closed; if you were curious at all why it was called...
