Absolutely insane. We ordered the breakfast bagel bar for a head count of 55. In the description it writes that it includes "turkey, ham, cheddar, Havarti & Swiss cheeses, assorted bagels, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, cream cheese, butter, and preserves." We had a big event here at the company and needed our order to be ready by 7am for our guests.
Our delivery only had bagels. They have missed all the meats, cheese, and veggies. The delivery lady, who was very sweet, had no idea why there were missing items and was told there were only bagels. Both me and the delivery driver tried calling the restaurant with no answers, as it directed us to leave a message since we were calling outside of business hours. As a business who caters and accepts early catering orders, it's unacceptable to not have a catering line to assist with catering issues no matter the business hours. After calling the customer service line through EZ Cater, the customer service rep who helped us was also unable to reach anyone from the restaurant.
I called into the restaurant multiple times and finally got someone to answer the line. Katie, I'm assuming is the manager on duty, answered and said that I only have ordered a bagel platter, hence why I only received bagels. On my receipt, it shows that there was supposed to be an order of meats, cheese, and veggies (also verified by the deliverer). After explaining the issue to Katie, the line was disconnected mid conversation. I called twice more times after she had hung up and was sent to leave a message. This was an incredibly unprofessional experience and I am astonished by how Katie handled our phone call.
Frustrated, I called the customer service line through EZ Cater again for more assistance, and after being on hold for 15 minutes while the rep also tried getting in contact with Boudin Bakery, she was finally able to reach someone who works there. Boudin Bakery stated that they did not have an ETA of when the rest of the delivery will be here but will be working on getting that completed. When the second half of the order got here (with some missing items AGAIN), it was already 7:50am. Our event had started at 7am.
Never ordering from this place again and highly recommend everyone to look elsewhere. I have been catering for events for quite a while now and this is hands down the WORST experience I've ever had. So grateful for EZ Cater's customer service line, as they assist us...

There is a pet store in the same shopping center and whenever I need to pick something up for my puppy we head over to Boudin to grab some food to go. I have brought her with me every single time, she’s a small chihuahua mix so I always carry her in a carrier bag. It had never been a problem until today. I walked in as usual with her in my bag and a server (Caucasian man with glasses and curly hair in a ponytail) informed me only service dogs were allowed in the restaurant. I asked if I could just get my food to go as always and he just gave me a dirty look and said nothing. This had never been a problem before and I was appalled by his lack of respect and simply told him never mind thank you. I understand and respect restaurant’s rules, I would never stay and eat with my dog inside the restaurant. We always pick up our food to go. It has gotten to the point where I will wait an extra 10 to 15 minutes after the pickup says its ready before I will leave to go get my order to ensure that I am not standing in the store waiting after I arrive. I did this again today and as I arrived I stood in the store waiting for my entire 10 minute break (I work next door). I followed my same process and waited 10 extra minutes after the order said it was ready for pickup.. but it wasnt actually ready when I arrived. I stood there waiting for a couple minutes thinking maybe they just needed to out it in a bag... no they didnt even make my order yet (it was a burrito) and YET the pickup said it was ready!!! None of the workers have any sense of urgency when there are customers standing in front of them waiting. I was met with a shoulder shrug when I asked to check on my order. Horrible service. Service takes way too long and food is NEVER ready when you arrive. Extremely inconvenient online...
