Today now Yesterday because its 12 am as i am writing this was my first time spending a full day in the park. I've been here many times before but not for the full day. It's a good time and it is reasonably priced for what it is. My encounters with the staff today were all positive, two areas of staffing I would like to point out is the front building and the bumper boats. Both areas had staff that were really welcoming. The wait time for rides was not that bad the worse wait being the line to ride the bigger go karts. I arrived at the park around 1pm went on different rides a spent about an hour on the water bumper boats as it was hot out. After I rode i few more rides. Then left the park for dinner after dinner I went back to the park and this is where my only issue of the whole day came up. There we these 2 people at the big go karts (from looks they were 2 men in the age range of about) 46-58 and they were being complete butts. They were ramming into other people and purposely crashing into them (this will come back up later). 1 guy kept wrecking into walls and when the race was over he would usually not follow the workers and got out of his car before being told too and would run around the garage and get first in line. I did a few races with them and others on the track and they kept ramming into others. On one of the races the guy who was being a jerk to others kept bumping me i tried to pull to the side to let him pass and he full speed ran into me turning my car sideways. When this is happens from my own observations it is protocol to stop the race and go turn the flipped go kart the right way while waiting for this the guy who crashed into me was making hand gestures the suggested it was my fault and he was laughing and carrying on. When the worker got to us I asked the worker if I could go back into the pit stop because I did not feel safe racing with the guy who had caused the problem he wasn't sure if that was allowed so he asked the other worker at the the control booth if I could the guy at the control booth gestured that I could so I returned to the pit the workers were very kind and let me out of the pit into the exit gate. I then was still shaken from what had just happened so I went to the front shop just to regain myself in the air conditioning and the female worker in their was very sweet we talked for awhile and then I went off I rode a few more rides then my friend who was with me found out that he had misplaced his keys so we went back to the go karts and the keys where there but as we were there something happened that I loved. This little kid ran into the guy who hit me twice and it brought a smile to my face. In my head I was like you go kid. Then we ended the day at sluggers and putters home to fun rides and some of the best staff I've...
Read moreThe rides were great, but about 5 minutes before sluggers and putters closed the blonde worker at the bumper cars was really harsh with my sister and another kid. My sister never rode bumper cars before, and she's 10, so she didn't understand the concept of the peddle to make the car move. After my sister thought hers was broken, the worker kind of yelled to her that she "heard her" after she seemed to ignore my sister when she yelled to her that it wasn't working multiple times. This made my little sister, who is a little on the sensitive side, a little upset and we were both put in an awkward position. She then said in a very annoyed manner to "turn the wheel right" and after it didn't work she seemed to yank the wheel to the left until it moved, clearly being her mistake. Not even a minute after she started up the ride again, another little kid got stuck in a corner and couldn't move, and it was pretty clear that he was stuck. About a minute or two passed and instead of helping him so he could enjoy the ride before it closed, she ended it and told us it was over. Not to mention the fact that my little brother wanted to ride next, and asked to ride it and she said "No, i'm closing it."... but not in a very polite way. he's 5, and was kind of upset about the fact that she sounded so harsh. That was the only problem I think i've ever had at sluggers and putters, and would recommend it otherwise. I also understand that she was probably working all day and just wanted to leave, but that is not a good excuse to...
Read moreWe were there celebrating my wife's birthday yesterday and from what we saw, their staff just does not care at all. On the go karts there was a teenager breaking the rules, bumping my wife, me and my mother aggressively. He even spun out another go kart at one point. The staff did nothing, didnt even give a warning. I'm not a square and know teens will push the rules, but this was aggressive and egregious. Went to the concession stand and ordered a Nutrl for my wife and I. Rest of my family ordered beverages as well. Everyone got their beverages except my wife and I. I asked about our beverages and they said they gave them all out. Keep in mind it had only been about 2 minutes since I ordered. They acted like I was trying to steal beverages from them despite ordering not 2 minutes ago. They made no effort to check their receipts and I had to dig my receipt out of the trash. It was disgusting. At this point I am rightfully angry and asked for a manager in which the blonde girl snidely replied I am the manager. Sluggers and Putter's service is a joke. Worst customer...
