Miss Ruth's Time Bomb — Attraction in Carlisle

I met the owner at Viva Las Vegas this past April and was excited to find out that their shop is only 45 minutes away from my home because the items that they offered at Viva were of exceptional quality and reasonably priced. I finally made a trip in to the store today and found some wonderful gems! The store is huge, well organized, clean, and the items are still reasonably priced for such high quality vintage goods! The sales person was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this shop for all of your vintage needs and I'll definitely be returning this fall for more goodies!

Note to the owner: Please notify me (my contact information is in your guest registry/notebook at the shop) when you get any pearl bakelite or lucite handbags in stock...I'll be happy to pay Viva prices if necessary because I'm not sure I will make it next year! I love...

Drove there specifically to see it and there was a "Closed" sign on the door "due to rain." Waste of time #1. Went there again today. Clerk just sat behind the counter on her phone, no greeting, no explanation of the store, asking if she could help, Nothing. Walked around a bit and saw a small chest or locker sitting on rack. No price, Wasn't being used as a fixture or anything. I went to the counter and interrupted the girl sitting there on her phone. I asked her about it and without even asking me where it was or what it looked like just blurted out, "It's not for sale." I asked her about an old gas mask that I had seen in one of the pictures on the website. "I think we sold that." was the reply. All the while not even getting up once from her chair. Two trips there. Both a huge waste of time. Save your self the grief and shop the other...

Absolutely wonderful. I went here with my girlfriend looking for some vintage outfits and while 90% of the store favors the ladies, there was still a rack in the back corner full of vintage suits. I was able to find two suits that fit me which was amazing.

There's also a large rack of button up shirts but nothing too dressy. There also weren't many trousers available at this time but I'll check again next time I visit to see if this a regular occurrence.

After purchasing my suits and a tie, they had trouble finding a garment bag so they offered to hold onto my order while I did some shopping in town and I could come back afterwards to pick it up in the proper bag. They were so incredibly nice and I'll definitely...
