I recently visited an Egypt restaurant and had a chance to try their chicken shawarma. I must say that the chicken shawarma was really good, with perfectly cooked tender chicken, flavorful spices, and a delicious garlic sauce that added a tangy kick to the dish. The portion size was also generous and satisfying.
However, the decoration of the restaurant was a bit overwhelming for my taste. There were too many different patterns and colors going on, which made the ambiance feel a bit chaotic and distracting. I would have preferred a simpler, more streamlined decor that would have allowed me to focus more on the food and the company I was with.
That being said, the service was good and the staff was friendly and attentive. They were happy to make recommendations and help us navigate the menu, which was a bit overwhelming with so many different options to choose from.
Overall, if you are in the mood for some delicious chicken shawarma, this Egypt restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a lively and busy ambiance, and try not to be too distracted by the colorful decor. I would also recommend getting there early, as the restaurant tends to fill up quickly...
Read moreThis was very first time here and eating Mediterranean/Egyptian food! They were very nice and gave me a sample of the chicken and beef shawarma. This really helped me decide on what I was getting because I had no clue about any of it. They were both very good and I liked the chicken more than beef so I decided on the checkin shawarma wrap with a mango drink and then grape leaves to share. A friend of mine got the lamb gyro and gave me a bite of the lamb to try since I’ve never had lamb. I really enjoyed the bite I had as it was very tender and moist! Everything was delicious and the food came quick. It’s a beautiful restaurant inside with friendly staff. They do have some American food for those that aren’t up to trying anything new. I highly recommend stopping in. I had such a wonderful experience I will...
Read moreI have been regularly coming to Kung Tut for weeks now and I have always been really impressed with every aspect. The food is phenomenal. At this point. I have tried everything on the menu and you can't go wrong. Some of the finest Middle Eastern food I've ever had. And that is saying something because middle eastern food is my favorite. My favorite dishes are the beef kofta and their kabobs. All of their dishes come in sandwich form or a platter which is nice. Surprisingly, they also offer American food for the kids such as hamburgers and chicken tenders. So bring the whole family. I would eat here every day if I could. Family owned and operated and the family is wonderful and charming. I highly recommend trying King Tut. You won't be disappointed.
And they serve Turkish coffee which is hard to find...
