Sit 'n Sleep — Attraction in Carrollton

I bought a sofa and 7 months later the fabric started piling, and the armrest cushions were wearing out. I called the manager and they came and picked up my furniture. A couple days later I received a phone call stating my furniture was fixed and the fabric piling is not abnormal. When I got my furniture back it looked like I had it for several years. It looked very worn I have only had it for 7 months. The manager shaved the entire seating area of the couch. I called the manager and told him that I was displeased with the outcome of my furniture. He told me that he did not think the couch looked bad and said the only other thing he could do was to sell me ANOTHER couch for less than cost. My couch is only 7 months old and not holding up and his solution to this problem was to sell me ANOTHER COUCH. I called Lazy Boy Coorperate and they told me they would contact him and try to come up with a better solution. I was contacted back by Lazy Boy and they told me that because Sit N Sleep is not a corporate store they can not force them to do anything. I cannot say enough good things about this company. It’s a great family owned business that’s been a part of our community for many years. My family has bought many different types of furniture from them over the years but I think the thing that stands out most for me is their customer service (especially with the elderly) and their lift chairs. The quality is great, the price is very reasonable considering you also always get free delivery, setup and haul away. The men that recently delivered my mom’s lift chair even offered to vacuum her living room floor for her after they moved her old couch out because she has a broken arm. We ordered a new recliner to replace a 20 year old leather one. We were told 8-12 weeks, which was fine! In this time, my husband had knee replacement surgery on 4/14. April 21st was 12 weeks with no chair. I called Cody to ask about possible delivery date this morning. My chair is ready, there's a shipping delay. Once Cody learned of our knee replacement situation, he offered a loaner lift, massage recliner until my chair arrives! My husbnd is asleep in that chair that was delivered in 2 hours!
