As a First Time patron to this restaurant, which was highly recommended, as we were visiting the area, my visit of excitement to finally receive fresh seafood quickly became disappointment. The wait was not bad and as we waited we were provided a paper menu to view. Upon being seated, it became apparent that the prices varied from one menu to the other. Not a worry, we just needed clarification to enjoy the celebration. The food was great and the portion size was very adequate. The server RIFRAF ( name on our ticket) was very helpful, patient and friendly. Upon preparing to order it was noticed the discrepancy of prices from the previous menu. We addressed the range of prices to our server in order to have a clear understanding of what we were paying for. RIFRAF was not sure , therefore, he called for the manager. As the manager PAUL approached, he was not very friendly and appeared to be very annoyed, no smile or appropriate greeting. We explained to him that we were enjoying our first visit to the restaurant but was provided one menu as we waited and another menu as we prepared to order and wanted to have confirmation as to which menu was current. Paul seemed to be upset that the previous menu had been provided to us, asking where did we get it from, the young lady taking seating supplied the menu from the front entrance where several paper take away menus are located, stated that it was the "seasonal menu" and the price on the new menu was what the prices are, they won't be changed and there's nothing else to do!! WOW!!!! was our response!!! The mood IMMEDIATELY switched and was shocked to be responded to in such a non chalant manner! Our Immediate response was to leave and not to EVER patronize this establishment again but due to time and medical circumstances we waited for our order. The server was even surprised of the harsh response. We had never experienced a tone from a manager like that before!!! Unfortunately, we will not be visiting the restaurant again. Read moreOur waitress was decent. She did impress me with her memory. The restaurant and food could use some improvements. We arrived around 6pm for dinner and the temperature was warm. It was not chill, neither cool, but very warm. The food was lackluster and the portions were questionable as to what is listed on the menu compared to what we received. We ordered spices, of course. One meal was supposed to be mild and the other medium. Neither meal seemed to reflect what was ordered. The steamed fresh crab was once again a disappointment. One bag seemed to have been cooked and prepared hours ahead and was dry and the shells felt like rubber, when cracking. Bottom line our check came to a total of $205. Read moreI was extremely unhappy with our visit tonight. I ordered steamed oysters and scallops tonight which were overpriced and did not come with a side!! The oysters were almost non existent and the scallops were about the size of a nickel. I bit into an oyster that was rotten. Not undercooked, not over cooked, rotten!! It immediately gagged me with the horrible taste of spoiled meat, and as I spat it out realized the whole oyster that was covered in sauce was green and slimy on the inside. Not the streak of green that is common with oysters, green rotten slime. I showed the waitress and she said she would tell the staff and the manager. Nothing was done.
