We were having a problem with our Nintendo switch and decided to bring it here, Even though the battery would charge when it was working and stay charged they first told me they would call me back in an hour or two with a diagnosis and a price, didn't hear back until I had to call the following Monday and they said they haven't even had a chance to look at it yet, it took about a week to get back to me and they determined that it needed a new battery knowing that the battery was charging and holding a charge, they explain that the battery was causing the issue we were having, they ordered the battery and installed it charged us about 60 bucks plus tax and all, took it home and it was already having the exact same problem as it was before literally 20 minutes after we picked it up, we call them and they said to bring it back in and they will look at it reflow some of the solder and try to see if they see anything else wrong with it, take another few days for them to get back to us and said that they don't know what's wrong with it and it looks like it might need a motherboard that it was too expensive to repair versus buying a new one, so even though they misdiagnosed it and put a battery in it that it did not need I asked to put the old battery back in and they said they were going to charge me more money for doing that, I explained usually when someone misdiagnoses something they put it back the way it was and refund the money or do the proper repair to fix it, they told me all they would do is put the old battery in refund the cost of the battery and charge labor again for replacing it.
We did not refuse a solution we ask that we could back it up before resetting it even though that solution didn't work anyways, I don't have a problem with the solution y'all came up with, The problem was saying it needs a battery putting a battery in it and telling me that you only refund me the cost of the battery even though it did not need it. Did you take your car to a mechanic to get repaired and they misdiagnosed and charge money for the wrong part then you bring it back and they put the old part back in and either refund the money or credit it towards the bill to actually fix it. Business owners know they will not see profit for five years maybe longer. F they lose a few dollars because they are honoring a solution to a customers problem as suggested bye one of their employees then that is what is known as quote the cost of doing business. When a customer purchases iPhone from this establishment they Manager and employees need to be on the same page. If the phone does not work the way the customer would like or even at all, then they sold their customer something that was not up to par and any cost above what the customer paid should be largely absorbed bye tap Company.
I still would recommend that you try this establishments services because they deserve a chance to learn how to be successful and I competitive Field. Three stars is all I can give them because my wife was told she would be offered a solution to a problem bye and employee of this business and the manager reneged completely and even was untruthful to my wife who was seeking AC working phone.
If this business sold her a non-working phone she should not have to bear the expense of replacing they non-working phone she bought in good faith, rather they Business should absorb the cost. I went in hoping they'd be reasonable, a discount since I paid close to $400.00 a week ago. Very rude to me saying you expect me to fix your screen for free.
