Beverly Nails & Spa of Preston Corner — Attraction in Cary

I was just at the nail spa three days ago to get a fill-in and to get my daughters nails painted as well as mine ! I came back in today because after letting my nails dry for over 30 minutes they still had smudged and looked horrible, so silly me I thought I could go in and get my color changed without it being a huge expense since I was just in there three days ago and for both me and my daughter it was only $30 as well as all the smudges that happened within hours..... instead as I started to get my nails painted I asked her how much it would be to have the gel polish put on and nothing else and she proceeded to tell me $20..... I asked why when regular polish is only $8 you cannot honestly tell me it cost 12 more dollars for a color change because it is gel polish ???? And I am/ was a very local customer! Of course I paid, ( with no explanation ) because I'm not going to not pay it just saddens me that the situation was not taken care of in the right manner !! I was then followed out of the stop by the owners wife, telling the woman who did my nails not to apologize to me!? It was pure craziness, I just really hate that they lost a good customer when me and the owner (husband) is a really great person..... of course my opinion, but this didn't have to end up like this!! Very disappointed in the service and approaching me outside the nail salon. I don't think this is they way you handle...

Be very careful...a salon that cheats you but not disclosing prices of certain items, while at the same time pushing services they want to sell. Went in for what I thought was a simple pedicure and was charged extra for specialized nail polish color. In shock, called the owner the next day and she said customers were expected to pick up the price chart and read. Very unethical and when I told her I would have to contact my credit card company for help, if she would not meet me halfway to find a resolution. She then continued to threaten me saying she didn't care what I would do but no way giving money back. So there you go, a salon that not only cheats, dupes their customers but clearly doesn't care about them either. Shocking in this day and age of the pandemic, where businesses are actually hurting for money and value the services they provide. Needless to say, she is being investigated by the credit card company for fraud and now that this is a matter of honor, she will be held accountable for duping customers. I also plan to go to twitter, Instagram and google to make sure she doesn't cheat others and treat them as badly as this. There are plenty of wonderful salons in Cary - don't throw your money away to a small business running on a fraudulent, unethical and...

I use to go to this salon several years ago. There has been a huge change over in staff! It just so happened that my friend and I had our schedule match for a pedi it’s News Day so or normal place was closed! We came in and the staff was very sweet! We chose the fancy package with the callus treatment and wax (starts with a ‘p’ but I forgot the name). I pointed out that I really needed a few parts ‘ extra filed. She agreed. The pedicure was good until I had to ask her to file or trim my big toe callus again....the lady next to her was trying to tell her not to take too much off and do it after the wax (I get month pedis I know what it should feel like callus free!) Then while under the drier I noticed my heel was very rough and dry! I asked her if she could use the purple buffer a little more... she added lotion. The lotion made it look worse (white in the cracks). When it dried I asked her still use the purple buffer/file. They weren’t happy with me but eventually did after telling me how to take better care of my feet! I get monthly pedis and see a foot doctor regularly. It wasn’t busy and I paid for the callous treatment with the special wax...I’m only expecting...
