This is the second bad experience I want to share with you all moms, I bought Ragi floor from Patel Brothers on Friday. That packet was open, sales person didn't even care about it but I saw floor on her scanning machine so I asked her if that packet is open... she said may be you can get another packet but there was no more packets so I thought to take that open one only. There are thousands of insects in it. I will share pics in comments. I fed my 7 month old baby last 2 days that product and he is so fussy from last 2 days today my husband realized something wrong with this Ragi Floor... I checked it and I can't tell you how much I cried to saw this and I am going to take my son to the emergency to check if he doesn't have any stomach problem because of this dirty, spoiled product. I talked to Patel brothers manager and he said you come and we will refund you....is this the way you take care of things....am I doing this and informing them for 2 dollars?? Nooooooooooooo, because I am worried about my son and many kids who is eating their products. I want them to take action in order to take care of customer health and safety. When I asked them do you have any quality check documents or follow any quality control he said NO. So I am really worried about buying products from them for future. We are buying organic products for our kid's better health and we don't worry about money. I saw many bad reviews about Patel brothers after it happened to me but they don't care. It happens because we people do not take any action about these businesses so they feel that they can do whatever is beneficial for their business and doesn't care for customers. They might get it for less price from some middle vendors. Not sure but I want moms to stop buying products from Patel brothers, they should realize that they are successful because of customers not because of their...
Read moreI wasn’t sure how to rate this place. I’ve been eating vegan lately and needed some variety and was excited to find Patel’s because I’m familiar with the brand in Massachusetts. I always had good experiences. This one in Raleigh was well stocked and I bought more than I expected however when I was checking out something unusual happened. I was putting my items on the counter when I looked up and found a man with a stick of incense burning standing in front of me. He came out of nowhere so I wasn’t sure if he needed something from the cashier. He seemed to say a prayer and then he went to the entrance and then he went beside the entrance with the incense, praying. This was around 2pm in the afternoon. I’m a person of faith so I wanted to be respectful but at the same time it was not a good feeling. He came very close to me when he prayed it was not comfortable. I would have given him space to pray if he told me he needed to do that but he didn’t. This is not a criticism just an observation. I don’t have a problem with people practicing their religion or beliefs but I felt like I was made a part of something that I...
Read moreToday I went to Patel Brothers in Cary NC and bought a bottle of Ghee. After returning home I found that the seal of the bottle was open. The ghee cost me 10 dollars almost. I don't live in Cary and to change only one product is not feasible for me to drive there.
I would not write this review if I was not continuously been experiencing negative incidents. A few days ago I went to Patel brothers at Cary and purchased two coolfie ice creams. But they charged me for four coolfie ice cream (extra 4 dollars). I found this out after returning home.
So in total, I gave away 14 dollars to the Patel brothers without receiving any benefit. The products at Patel brothers are not cheap. When you pay but receive nothing from it, that hurts. I think this was the last time at Cary Patel Brothers. Update:
Patel Brothers Acknowledged the mistake and reimbursed me money. Thanks to Mike who took great care of this issue. Hats off to the...
