We live in Cascade and regularly donate items to this Goodwill location. Today we donated a bunch of items from our home. The Goodwill staff that assist us at the drop off site have always been very careful and courteous with all the items we dropped off. However, today we were SHOCKED at the behavior of one of the staff members. The car ahead of us had donated a piece of furniture. When this staff member went to pick it up, it came apart. He then THREW this piece of furniture on the pavement. Knocked on the back door in the store to get some help and the girl yelled at me instead of actually helping me and told me to get out. Zero reason to spend money at a store that is only for profit anyway. All I wanted was a simple lightbulb to test a lamp in store and no one could accommodate. Spend your money at the thrift stores that actually help people in the community since good store does not.
I did talk to the manager and she apologized for this employee’s behavior - it seems like it’s a common occurrence with this individual. Take that for what...
