Hubby, son & I came to the skatepark area to play. Very nice park. I love the peace sign hand statue & the beautiful carvings around the walls. The memorial placard was sweet. I'll have to Google his name. Beautiful memorial that people will find peace & enjoyment at for decades to come. What a legacy he left. Looked like there was a softball or baseball game going on over across the way at the field area. I sat in the shade under a lovely gazebo area, which has an incredible view of the mountains in the background.

Great, clean park! Well maintained and usually has quite a few people here. We love the shade trees and how dog friendly it is. The restrooms are always in good condition and the people here are very friendly. 🐕

Here in Castle Rock, this is a very busy, multi purpose park close to the Renaissance ELOB school. The skate park is one of the few of its kind available to the public. The issue for me is that parents seem to allow their kids to go here unattended and the kids, some of them young adults, can get pretty heavy with the profanity and be inconsiderate of other patrons. The multiple baseball parks are well equipped and have ample parking and stadium seating. The park is planted with a nice assortment of plants, grass and trees and there are even a few art sculptures. The park is open late and is well lit with jogging paths and benches. DCSD does a great job of patrolling the area and sometimes will just leave a car parked here during busy hours. Very safe and fun park to visit. Wish parents would...

Visited the playground for a lunch date with my son and found it to be a bit run down and not the cleanest. We were the only ones there and used the nearby picnic table for our lunch. Not as clean as you’d like to eat on, but it is fully exposed to the elements., so I get it. Playground equipment was fun for my son but really stuffed up and areas were pretty dirty like some kids had an accident in the slides. Overall, it was convenient to where we were at the time and would go back...
