You all know Chik-fil-A. The best fried chicken or grilled chicken you can get from fast food. Food is on point here but the area they are located at is very crowded. During rushes the parking lot gets full and the the drive through line goes out to the street and causes traffic issues to all of the 10 or 15 businesses in the area.
If you do go through the drive through, the staff take your order outside face to face because it's suppose to be faster. They will take your order on the tablet and then you can play Russian Roulette to see if their card swiper is working outside or just pay at the window. Yes this method is probably faster but it's sloppy. It's probably faster because I personally feel rushed to order something when someone is standing there waiting for your order. If the line is backed up they will actually walk down the line to your car until the line moves. I have not had a chance to look at the full menu in a few months because I am a creature of habit and just order something I am familiar with and don't want to socialize in a drive through.
I did provide feedback to this location and of course they wanted to offer free coupons for food but that doesn't fix some of my issues with the location. I still come here for food but if it's during a rush I actually go all the way to Parker or Park Meadows location if time is not a factor. So hopefully things get better with time but with how popular it is, I don't see anything happening anytime soon. Even though I got free coupons, it's the principle of it all. I still have them and will not use them.
In the end it's up to you. Just because I don't like this location doesn't mean you shouldn't go. Just as a tip, avoid rush hours if possible unless you want to wait longer for food or possibly catch yourself in awkward traffic jam. Food and friendliness is great as...
Read moreAfter being "strongly encouraged", every time I go through their drive-through, to use the Chick-Fillet app, I can say with certainty I will never make that mistake again. Horrible POS that, if you allow "location services' to work in the app, to direct you to the closest store, it will actually default to a store on another planet, as in the store that is the farthest away from your actual location, and still be in the same zip code. But all that aside, the order sat on the counter at that location for 15+ minutes, while my gps took me to the store that really was the closest, like 4minutes away. I received no updated info in the app. No one called, texted, or messaged, in spite of authorizing those settings. By the time I found the other store on Mars, the order was pretty much room temperature. I explained exactly what happened to the young lady behind the counter, who went to the "manager on duty", who appeared to be about 16 years old. He whispered something to her, but was apparently not willing to deal with the problem himself and then put that young lady in the awkward position of having to tell me they would give me 6 orders of additional room temperature waffle fries, but nothing else. Tough noogies. After I spent $71 trying to feed a crew. There was no opportunity provide feedback directly to corp, so I decided this was the only other option. The app has it's issues, but nothing that couldn't have been dealt with at the store level. CF failed twice...
Read moreEdit: 8.30.24 I decided to try out this branch again but they’re still getting orders wrong. They added extra items to my order which I had to get removed, then gave me the wrong entree.
I love going to this chick-fil-a, but I'm a little disappointed as of late. I go about once a week, and in the last month they've been getting my order wrong more than a few times. As someone who has limitations on what they can and cannot eat, it's a little frustrating that my order keeps being put together wrong or items are missing. If you go through drive thru, I just encourage you to review your order before leaving to ensure it is correct.
Edit 4.24.24
This is the 5th time in the last two months that my order was wrong. I love chik fil a, but this specific location is starting to worry me. I’ll have to start going to a different chik fil a or just find a new breakfast spot. I probably go once a week. First, my entree was missing. The next time I went, hashbrowns were missing. Third time, they got my entire order wrong (caught the drink and missing item, but still got entree wrong). Fourth, hashbrowns were missing. And finally this time, I was given the wrong nugget count (5 instead of 6), but it only had 4 nuggets in the box.
This location used to be very on top of orders, and the food is always good, but the lack of accuracy seems to have started in the last two months and has become a trend. That’s why I’m changing my review from a 3 star...
