The owner tried to double charge me and was incredibly disrespectful. My card went through and the machine died. We waited for the machine to restart and I went to check my credit card to see if I was charged. She got mad for me checking and yelled at me in front of the other customers. All to find out I was charged already. I have never seen such a nasty business owner in my life. I will not be going back and urge others to spend their money elsewhere.

It’s part of frontier village which is a nifty little old style tourist trap. This little shop is full of gifts and assorted souvenirs. It’s clean and organized and has quite a decent variety. The prices reflect a tourist shop for sure but it is what it is. Staff was friendly.

It breaks my heart to read the negative reviews about Cave Creek Mercantile. This business is the product of the hard work of one man and family patriarch for the last 28 years. The actions of a former employee has soured multiple customers and it saddens us. Please know that CCM Ownership does not support or endorse this behavior. I'm a local and was excited to show my mom and grandma a fun time in Frontier Town shopping. The lady here was extremely rude the way she told us that she wasn't open yet (it was 9:58am and she opened at 10). The door was propped open and she was hanging up signs. I confronted her about her rudeness and she proceeded to call us names.

After reading the other reviews, this is apparently a trend.

I don't recommend spending a penny at this store.
