Miguel Camarena Art Gallery — Attraction in Cave Creek

We visited Miguel’s studio in January of this year from British Columbia, Canada. I just loved his donkey paintings, they can’t help but put a smile on your face. Unfortunately we couldn’t buy one of his paintings but he did sell us one of his prints at a great price. Miguel is a terrific painter and such a great guy. I’ve been looking at Miguel Camarena’s art for a long time. We went into his gallery off of Cave Creek Road first, we spoke with his son who was very helpful and then Miguel came in and we got to talk to him. His artwork is amazing and fun we bought a large painting of five donkeys, I’m so excited for it. We’ve always admired the bright artworks hanging in front of the gallery from our regular seat at the bourbon bar across the street from the gallery and decided we needed a print of “Happy Hour Donkeys” for the hallway into our dining room.
