The Cave Creek Cowboy Company is the real-deal for authentic western wear, cowboy gear, hats and high-quality boots. Huge western boots selection from work to the dance floor they have you covered. Amazing how much high-quality inventory for western wear they have in stock. This place is for the folks that are looking for something special you just don't find at many retail stores nationwide, or in the world. Imagine finding all these outfits under one roof. Located in the center of Cave Creek right next to the famous Buffalo Chip that feature live bull riding. Plenty of free parking and right in the center of all the action in Cave Creek.

These folks saved my hide! I was in town to play the role of Wyatt Earp in a gunfight reenactment and forgot my frock coat back in Tucson! I called this store literally minutes before I needed to check in and they not only had the coat I needed, they moved it to the front desk AND gave me a discount due to the bind I was in. I cannot say enough good about people like this. Thank you Cave Creek Cowboy Co.!

If I could rate this overpriced, unfriendly, rude place a ZERO, I would. However that is not an offered option.

We came here today with the intent of spending approximately $5,000 at their advertised "Trunk Sale." This was the first time we ever took our beloved, highly trained and awarded English Golden Retriever to any public place. Arizona and Cave Creek in particular are among the most dog-friendly places in the USA. Clearly we were expensively dressed in western wear. No "no dogs allowed" sign anywhere to be found. As we set foot in the store an extremely rude owner (and clearly one not wishing to do any business) "greeted" us nastily saying dogs were not allowed in his store. Well, OK. Not posted, but okay.

As a former CEO and owner of many international businesses (including retail) I am well aware of how anyone gracing your establishment should be greeted; this was not that experience! A better way would have been to welcome us and explain that for (whatever reason opposite to the rest of Arizona businesses), dogs were not allowed on the premises. Then perhaps invite the customer to sit on the porch, offer him a water and perhaps a milk bone for the dog - then learn what the customer's interests were and offer to bring a few suggested items for purchase outside to the customer - make it easy to take the customer's $5,000 (or whatever) and make him feel valued, welcomed and appreciated. Our conversation was completely devoid of any good business judgment or nominal respect for the customer.

My wife went inside briefly and sure enough there were NO "TRUNK SHOW" BARGAINS (AS WAS ADVERTISED) HERE to say the least. There are so many other places in Cave Creek, Carefree and Scottsdale that offer the same or way better merchandise at reasonable prices and absent the bad attitudes. Sounds like from one of the other negative reviews dated 2/16/2020, this owner does not isolate his disrespect to just us; sounds like he also scared another family with children away too.

Like all else, the market will determine this fellow's fate in time - small minded thinker at best. I cannot wait to see the big "going out of business" sale where prices will be slashed 90% and still will be overpriced for the same goods located nearby and sold everyday by friendly, welcoming salespeople who want your business. DO YOURSELF A LARGE FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! That is unless you wish an experience similar to the Soup Nazi in the Seinfeld show. "No Cowboy Gear for You! Come back...

I was visiting Arizona with my son’s family. I suggested bringing my grandson to this cute establishment to pick out boots for his 18th bday. I love the Cave Creek area. (I’m sure they remember us). I called first to make sure they had boots in our price range, as we didn’t want to spend $$$ for an 18 yr. Old. The young lady over the phone said they did, & actually had a 50% off sale rack. When we arrived, my son was told by an arrogant young salesman that they “didn’t carry anything in that price range.” He was rude & degrading, probably should find another job! Then we were shown a pair of boots for $331 from the young lady. Because that was “close” to our $200 budget lol. Anyhow, We were going to walk out at that point, but the young woman, (can’t remember her name, blonde) took my son & grandson to the sale rack. Fortunately she saved the bday gift idea, & sold us a sweet pair of boots. I must say, merchandise is extremely overpriced on many items, including boots. We are from Colorado, so we are knowledgeable in Cowboy wear. Anyhow, “thank you”to the sweet young lady for allowing us to find something. Unfortunately, I won’t step foot in this establishment again, as I did not have a warm, friendly feeling here. More of a snooty “welcome.” Cute place with beautiful western apparel, but not worth the arrogance & outrageous prices. Customer service is very important! Sadly, Will go elsewhere when...

Cave Creek Cowboy Company deserves a MILLION STARS!! The actual store is so awesome with the best selection in cowboy boots and more! Our last visit was a huge success bc they had gorgeous boots half off. We went in to buy a cowboy hat and came out with 3 beautiful boots. The customer service is always off the charts!! Jacki helped us for over an hour with such kindness, knowledge and patience! She was beautiful on the inside and the out. The general manager-Kylie was also outstanding!! She helped me separately while Jacki helped my daughter. I learned so much about cowboy boots from her. You can tell both of these gals absolutely loved their job and they had so much knowledge in their trade. So grateful for both of them and for Cave Creek Cowboy Company!!...
