This place deserves a rave review on every level! I thought I had done a review on this place every time we've gone, but apparently, I kept forgetting. The owner is an absolute hoot to meet, and all the food we have had so far has been beyond my imagination every time! Last time, I mistakenly got myself addicted to their horchatta, lol. Oh my goodness, divine! Best I've ever had! The chimichanga practically melted in my mouth and the flat bread...well, it's perfect every time. Very authentic and finger licking good! My friend has been going there for over 20 years, and it's the same she remembers and never disappoints. They create...

Stopped in the Indian Village for lunch on a Friday. Very few customers, but all good reviews, so we tried it out. We had the Fry Bread with chili and it was good, but not excellent. The chicken taco was bland, as the chicken was just white meat without seasoning.

We walked to the back of the establishment, where the restaurant is located and were informed we needed to go back out front to place our order. There were only 2 other persons eating at the time, so it seemed they could have just taken our order at that time? Anyway, the atmosphere is kind of plain and outdated, but it was cooler than...

Indian Village is located in the heart of Cave Creek and offers a unique blend of Southwestern and Mexican cuisine.

Their Indian Fry Bread is incredible and offers a much needed reprieve during the months leading up to the state fair. More importantly, their food is a bargain offering large portions for low prices.

The owner is almost always there and is quite the character. Him and staff are kind and offer a welcoming environment each and every time. I've only eaten here a few times and he already recognizes me by name. Definitely THE place to eat whenever you are passing...

We walked in about 30 minutes before closing. We hated to do it, but we weren't going to be back anytime soon, so we decided we would eat quickly and leave so they could get to their lives. The food came quickly, and we learned as fast that the owners' confidence was not unfounded. The Chimichanga was one of the best I have ever had! The Horchata was delicious! It truly was, in his words, a treat. The kitchen employees were very nice despite our late arrival, but we successfully finished before the closing bell and went on our way. Do not miss this gem when you find yourself in Carefree.

This is where you fine actually Mexican food!! The shredded beef tacos and Spanish and beans was amazing! I was told by a co-worker that if you love Mexican food then you will love Indian village! But my favorite part about this restaurant is that it is attached to a souvenir shop so you just wouldn't expect there to be a hole in the wall right in the back. Freaking awesome!!
