HEB has failed on a number of occasions to meet the communities physiological needs (Maslow Heirarchy). They couldnât and didnât prepare to feed our community during freezing weather which is surprising as the company made 38.9 billion dollars in 2022. Those resources should be enough to better prepare for inclement weather. To add, they allow personal shoppers to block the aisles on a daily basis which causes delays for in store customers who would like to reduce their costs by avoiding delivery. The system seems designed to force customers into having food delivered. Recently, HEB had systemâs issues with their payment machines which caused delays in providing our community with food and water. Furthermore, HEB has failed to meet the hierarchical need of self actualization as they continue to place fruits and vegetables in one time use plastics even though it is unnecessary as fruits and vegetables are grown outside and do not need to be placed in plastic. HEB has a responsibility to reduce their carbon footprint associated with one time use plastics. Please leave fruits and vegetables in their natural form as they already have a natural covering or do not need to be placed in plastic. HEB uses plastic bags as well. There are grocery stores in the area using paper bags because they care about Earth. Lastly, the paint in their parking lots cause customers to fall during wet weather as the paint becomes slippery when wet. I have witnessed customers fall in the parking lot due to the paint which does not provide enough traction, especially for our older adult community which deserves better. HEB is unreliable and does not care about our community or our planet. I am determined to bring our community together to demand that HEB becomes more responsible. If this review is hidden by HEB, I will raise these issues in a different with a team of protesters in the parking lots (avoiding the painted lines and curbs if it is raining to avoid falls and possible injury) of your stores. Thank you in advance for immediate changes for...

I shop 2 stores in the area. Hutto Super Store and HEB Whitestone. I live near Hutto and work in Cedar Park. I stopped by to pick up some flowers for my Mother in-law's grave who had just past and while I had time for them to be prepared I decided to pick up a couple items including some tobacco. I proceeded to get in line at a regular register with 1 person checking out and a lady in front of me with 4 or 5 items. This manager approached me and respectfully let me know that the self checkout was empty and I could go there. I politely told him I was good and was getting tobacco (directly in front of the register I was at). After a minute or 2 a person with a basket of about 10-12 items got in line behind me at which time this manager again approached me and insisted that I use the 15 item or less lane at the other end of the store. I again politely told him I was good and that it was more convenient for me to be in the lane I was in. I guess this didn't sit well with him, so he approached me a third time and insisted in a very authoritarian way that I use the 15 item or less lane on the other side of the store. Now my blood was boiling and I wanted to drop everything I was going to buy, tear up the floral ticket in his face and tell him off. I didn't. I moved to the 15 or less lane and waited at least 5-7 minutes for the tobacco. Paid and began the hike back to the floral department and noticed as I passed the lane I was originally in that both the lady in front of me and the person behind me with the light basket had already checked out and were gone.I have been a regular patron of this HEB for over 2 years but because of the way this one individual treated me, I will never shop...
Read moreUpdated: Still utterly impressed! Yesterday (Thanksgiving Day), I had a curb side order for a few last minute items. I was notified that several items were out of stock with no alternatives, and if I'd like to talk to someone I could request a call back. They were out of chocolate pie and fall flower arrangements. They called me from the store a short while later and the lady talked through some alternatives. I gave her a price range for "something chocolate" from frozen section (asked her to just find something), and did the same for the flowers. The chocolate item were HEB brand cream puffs with chocolate on top (never had before and were crazy good, and are now a new dessert item for the house). For the flowers she sent out 3 options for me to pick from at the car, all quite different from what I originally ordered but one was looked perfect. Seriously amazed every time with this team. Great job everyone who works here. You are greatly appreciated! Original: Parent's with kids parking, with covered cart returns to keep the race car carts from getting to hot in the Texas sun. Seriously, that's digging deep in the customer experience playbook for how to delight your customers. On top of the general better store in every way I'd give them credit for having compared to all of their grocery competitors. If I ever had to leave Texas, HEB and Tex Mex would be the things I'd...
