I will never come back here again. I came to Office Depot for ink cartridges and they didn't have the Canon brand ink I needed. So I took the opportunity and bought the Office Depot brand ink cartridges that are compatible with Canon. Biggest mistake ever. After being asked if I wanted to sign up, I politely declined, the employee didn't take no for an answer and tried to get me to sign up again for 10% off which I declined as well. So they didn't ring me up until I gave my name, zip code, and email. After being irritated I got home and opened the ink cartridges and they were ALL busted. Each was individually wrapped and ink seeped through the plastic baggies each one came in. I assumed that this item/ the ink cartridges were defective at this point. No way I can put those in my printer. I of course went back and tried to do a refund.
At the time of my refund, the same employee gave me a rude look before even ringing me up and said "I will only give you a refund this once." Very Unprofessional. They showed me the policy of only UNOPENED items can be refunded. They asked if I wanted an exchange when I politely said no, I did not want to purchase this brand again because of the item in front of them. After the "one-time only refund," the employee took the ink cartridges, taped the box up, and put the back on the shelf (by the front counter) for resale as if the item was not defective or had anything wrong with it. Read moreI had a terrible experience at this store. I bought a $400 big and tall office chair and the extended warranty and it has broken with a couple of months.
When I checked with the warranty company, they said I had to take the chair into the store. When I took the chair into the store, the manager told me I had to contact the warranty company. Furthermore the manger refused to give me any information, phone numbers, or ways to contact Office Depot. When he was rude, I asked for the number of the district office and he also refused to speak to me and gave me no recourse to solve my problem.
I then spoke with customer service, both on chat and on the phone. Both said I would be contacted within 24 hours. That was on December 28. Still no contact nearly 3 weeks later.
Still following up, I have spend time on chat and been cut off twice after no resolution was made. I have called the customer service number and the parts/service number and been hung up on several times after very long waiting times.
This poor quality of service is uncalled for and it should at least be resolved by person-to-person contact in a store. Instead, that's where my problems began. At this point I will never buy another product from Office Depot at this store, nor online. It seems once they have their money, they do stand by their products or even try to help customers. Read moreThis had to be the worst customer service out of a manager. I ask salesman about a monitor. They where out still over past few weeks. They said to check in on Wednesdays and Saturdays. So I've been in for 2 weeks. So I asked if I could talk to a manager to see if I could buy floor model. Salesman asked her as she walked up to us. She said no. As I started to talk to tell her I've been in several times like they told me. But before I said 2 words she started to walk away. I was like hello are you not going to talk to me. She kept walking. I said out loud. Are you not even going to talk to me. She kept walking. WOW great manager skills. Never coming back here. I think her name was alissa. TERRIBLE SERVICE. AVOID THIS STORE. They only got 1 star because I had to. If I could I would have left a 0 for stars. They are missing all customer service skills. I'm in customer service and I would never treat someone like that.
