Perfect location, and it's a little tricky to get to the parking lot if you are coming from the opposite direction. My GPS had me drive through the Exxon parking lot to get to the hotel. I was very disappointed in Matt. I arrived at 2:45. Check-in is at 3 pm. I gave Matt my DL and CC, and he looked up my reservation and said I had to wait until exactly 3 pm. or it would mess up their systems. I never heard of that and I travel a lot. But, I went to sit in my car and I told Matt, I would be back exactly at 3 pm. We'll, an older gentleman, George, help my friend check in....it's 3pm and her room is not ready. George goes upstairs, comes back, and completes my friend's check-in. I was told that my room would not be ready for another 20 min. I dont understand why, and George says he'll go ahead and complete my check-in, even though my room was not ready. I asked George if he sure that thus won't mess up their systems, and I shared with George the lie that Matt told me. George looks at Matt, says, checking in before the room is ready, won't mess up the systems. I ask Matt, why did he say that? "I'm new, and I didn't know." My response? What does being new have to do with anything. You should ask someone. It was a long, drawn-out conversation, and I'm hungry, tired, and angry at this point. Matt goes upstairs because housekeeping is not answering the phone. My room is finally ready at 3:28. It may not seem like a long wait, but the lies are what bothers me. Matt mentioned the hotel was sold out, then he said other customers rooms are ready but they are not here to check-in.....and in like there is no one in the lobby, any 3 cars around this entire hotel and none of that has to do with you not knowing how to check me in at 2:45. My girlfriend found a hair in her bed, and it wasn't her hair because she had braids and it wasn't her hair color. Matt asked her if she was sure it was their when she checked into her room? This was such a crazy experience. If ya'll don't train Matt, you will lose...

My fiancé, daughter and I reserved a room with a king bed and pull out couch. It was late so when we got to the room, we were getting things ready for bed. After we pulled out the couch for our daughter, we realized it was awful! Lopsided, wobbly, and sinking like she would fall through to the floor. Since it was late, we were exhausted, and we really don’t like to complain, we decided to let her sleep with us. During the night (after passing out with shoes still on), I got comfy and started to look for the blanket or comforter I assumed was in the bed. I couldn’t find it. So I turned the ac up a bit and cuddled between my fiancé and daughter to keep warm. That sufficed. In the morning we went to the front desk for check-out. When Amanda asked us how the stay was, we told the truth. “It was clean and the breakfast was pretty great, but for some reason we couldn’t find the comforter on the bed. Where would it have been?” Amanda said with a condescending tone while laughing, “It was there. You just missed it bc it’s between the 2 sheets. There was also an extra one in the closet. I don’t know how you could miss both.” Between 2 sheets is something new to me - guess I need to get out more ha. After telling her that and that they should let people know where the extra one is at least (for the price of the hotel room, I feel like it’s not too much to ask). She then mocked me and became argumentative. At that point, I was wanting to be the bigger person so I calmly left the conversation and went to the car. My fiancé and I contemplated on whether to call and complain or not. We decided to and the other manager was rude in the same tone as the first. She wouldn’t give us even a discount for our stressful exit. That was the least I felt she could do. She didn’t seem to care much about the customers, only siding with Amanda. I’ve NEVER encountered hospitality like this before and will NEVER go to a Holiday Inn again! Especially this...
Read moreI can't give 0 stars , but would if i could. I can however inform others of rat feces with rat hairs mixed in surrounding our entire room and beds. We found dried nasal mucus wiped on the wall in plain site, other areas of rat feces and a hole in the wall. Rat teeth marks were chewed into the fake wood under the beds, in order to gain access under the beds. We actually heard scratching during rhe night under our bed. The Carpets are so filthy my feet would turn black before ever making it back to my bed after my shower. My daughter got sick with her asthma and then the assist manager Valaria basically said they weren't the hotel for us since both rooms we looked at had these problems. The 3rd room she showed us had old dried French fries on the floor around the waste basket. She offered to find us another hotel as if we were the problem and not their filth. I was insulted by her passive aggressive attitude and acting as if it just wasn't a big deal. I do have a total of 37 photos from 2 of the 3 rooms. Shame on them, they still wouldn't wave the charge and we had to pay to sit in bed listening to something chew on wood under our bed and breathe in rat contamination in the air. This is going on the the health dept. If you want to see the photos click on my profile picture and it will take you to my original post which cannot be changed or edited by...
