Arapaho Park: A Dog Dad’s Daily Retreat
As a devoted Dog Dad, Arapaho Park has become more than just a park—it’s our little slice of heaven. Every morning, like clockwork, my four pups and I hit the trails, and it’s the best part of our day.
The park is a dream for dog lovers. The wide-open spaces are perfect for letting my crew stretch their legs, and the walking paths are well-maintained, making every step feel easy—even with four leashes in hand. It’s peaceful, clean, and always welcoming, whether we’re there at sunrise or later in the day for a quick jaunt.
What really stands out is how thoughtful the park is for pets. There are plenty of trash cans and doggie bag stations (a must for responsible pet parents), and the locals are just as friendly as the park itself. My dogs have made plenty of four-legged friends along the way, and I’ve enjoyed more than a few chats with fellow dog walkers.
The scenery is the cherry on top. The morning light filtering through the trees? Gorgeous. It’s not just a walk—it’s a reset for the soul. I come home feeling refreshed, and my dogs come home happy and tired, which is a win for everyone.
Arapaho Park is more than just a morning routine for us; it’s our happy place. If you’re a fellow Dog Dad or Mom looking for a spot to bond with your furry family, this park has my...

I love that there are two playgrounds—one for big kids and one for littles—and lots of fun musical components throughout the play areas. It was really cute and added such a fun, creative touch! The slides are huge, and there are swings, pogo sticks, and even a little free library.
There’s also a soccer field, tennis courts, and a big open field that’s great for running around. The gazebo area has plenty of picnic tables and grills—perfect for a picnic or party. I saw a restroom but didn’t go inside. Overall, a great spot to spend the...
Read moreOh my goodness! I did not think there were local parks with entertainment to this level. Blown away! As you pull in You (more importantly your littles) will be amazed by the size of the slides! I was so impressed, I had to slide down them myself. The musical chimes were so much fun to play with my kids. There are so many things to do between the two park areas, and there is even a shelter to host a get together! Adjacent to the park is a seemingly never ending field to play or let the doggos run. If you're looking for somewhere to waste some time and let your kiddos or dogs run free, this is the...
