Houston County Galleria — Attraction in Centerville

Second time having come to this place and not really a fan of much that I chose to eat. I will say the banana pudding was off the chains meaning it was quite enjoyable and I had some fried catfish that seemed very good but their ribs are way over seasoned and not palatable by myself or much of the huge crowd I came to join here on this day. If it had not been for the invitation I received to join the beautiful group of people I got to break bread with I would not have chosen this place based on the last time I had visited and did not like pretty much anything I had eaten. I think they can do better but apparently the staff doesn't eat what they cook for the customers or perhaps they would know it's not that great. I know I can be critical since I cook and bake and I get rave reviews from those I serve but I do taste what I make and...

This mall is the newest mall in the area. It will probably be the last one. There just isn't that much going on in it. Eventually, I think it will be turned into some sort of community center. The manager they have there... Janna something.. is a dingbat. IF she was half as savvy as Laverne was at the old mall... this mall would have been something special. But she's not. Don't try to go to her with any new ideas. She's not going to listen to them. I think the only thing she worries about is whether her check will clear. But this review isn't about a useless manager, it's about a Mall...so...moving forward... It's clean, and well lit. The stores that are in it provide decent service, but they don't do enough to try and get traffic there. But then again...that's supposed to be Jana's...

Security treats people terrible! My daughter and her best friend got off work at 6 and went to the mall to shop, as teenage girls do. Mall security approaches them and kicks them out because they are 16. Said they aren't allowed in the mall past 6:30. They were by Sears and asked if the can at least walk to Belk where they were parked. He told them no he will call the police on them. He put the 2 girls out in the dark to walk all the way around the mall outside alone, in the dark! There are no signs posted nor is there anything on their website about a curfew. Kids shouldn't be bullied by a mall cop just because of their ages! I understand some kids cause problems, but say something to those kids. Not kids that are not...
