"Menu-trickery" is what I call it! I've never seen an item listed as a combo that gives you less than a special and doesn't come with a "drink"??? Which is the "trick" that was done to me this past Monday. I ordered a Chicken & Shrimp combo $7.99 and was charged $9.38? I was perplexed so I asked where is my soda and why so much? I was told the combo includes the "Rice, Chicken, Shrimp & plate"....no Drink in a manner in which he almost spoke no English. Mind you the special was $7.75 with no Shrimp + a Drink? I still decided to give them a try despite this. After receiving my order and opening the lid, the chicken and shrimp looked overcooked. After tasting I was correct. I tossed it around a bit but decided it wasn't satisfactory to my taste. I returned to the counter and told the cashier I wasn't satisfied with my order and wanted it remade without burning the meat. I was told by the cashier who previously couldn't understand Engish..."no refunds and you ate some of it"? I have no criminal record and I'm a law abiding citizen...so to keep my record in tact I politely closed the lid and left it on the counter. I will never, ever place an order from one of these places unless I'm clear on what I'm getting, what I'm paying for, etc. But 100% certain I, nor my family will ever patronize this place in the future. I work too hard for my funds to just be tricked and bamboozled plus good customer service can make even an unsatisfactory...
Read moreThe appetizers were fine. Pot stickers were yummy, spring rolls were crispy.
The teriyaki vegetables needed yum yum sauce, extra soy sauce and duck sauce - couldn't taste any teriyaki sauce at all. The fried rice was mixed with the vegetables which I believe are carrots, cabbage, and broccoli, and possibly onions. The medium sized serving was very generous. A side of teriyaki sauce would really help here.
Teriyaki chicken was tender and moist, but also lacking in teriyaki flavor. The lo mein noodles were well cooked. The raw veggies we're okay but limp due to being in styrofoam next to hot food, I'd have preferred them mixed in with the noodles and cooked. Again the medium sized serving was very generous. A side of teriyaki sauce would have been great if available.
I have a major problem with the yum yum sauce. I had to pay extra for it and the menu said it would be 2 ounces. It came in 2 ounce souffle cups, but none of them were close to being full. If you say it's 2 oz., fill up the cups! It...
Read moreI called in to make my order so I can just run in and get it before the rain. I ordered and she asked me how long before I get there. I told her 10 min. Then I asked if she needed my number, name.... and she said no it is on the caller ID. I get there 10 min later and then I get told.... You have to pay first before they will make it. Like seriously you couldn't tell me that over the phone. Then she comes back with. Oh I don't usually work here or make the rules. ... Again You couldn't tell me this when I called? Now to the food.... The white rice was too done. It was mesh...mush... like this meal was a waste of 15 min wait for tasteless food. I purchased 3 of them with extra chicken and extra teriyaki. I had to scrap the chicken off the rice to eat it. No Thank You. What a waste of 33.83. I should have just went...
