This place has changed — and not for the better.

I used to come here and get authentic chicken shawarma — shaved straight from the vertical rotisserie, with fresh veggies, garlic sauce, all wrapped in a flavorful wrap. Just like the photos on the menu.

Today I came back, pointed to the menu picture of the chicken shawarma wrap (which clearly shows shawarma meat and vegetables), and ordered it. What I got was a dry wrap with chunks of chicken, no veggies, no flavor — just meat in a tortilla. Nothing like the photo.

When I asked why there were no vegetables, the cashier told me, "Next time just ask." I said, "But I ordered what’s in the picture." He replied, "The pictures are wrong."

Then I looked behind the counter — there was no chicken on the rotisserie, only beef. So they advertise chicken shawarma from the spit but serve something completely different. That’s misleading and dishonest.

❗ Food does NOT match the menu. ❗ Pictures show one thing — but they serve another. ❗ Poor communication and no effort to fix the issue.

This used to be a good place. Not anymore. I won’t return — and I don’t recommend it.

➡️ All the old positive reviews were from the previous owner and management. Don’t be misled by them — this is not the same...

STOP THE THIEF!

BUYER BEWARE: Do not pay with your credit card(s), or you will be overcharged! Just pay cash!

For a small steak kabab sandwich with little meat and completely tasteless, I was supposed to pay $7.99 + tax. However, when I paid with my credit card, I was charged $8.83 altogether! They refused to explain the reason for $.40.00 extra after the applied tax. I believe I was charged extra for using a credit card instead of cash! The business ethics mandates that the business owner post such a policy on the wall, visible to all clients and customers. Anyway, I do not plan to patronize this so-called kebab restaurant anymore.

Honestly, PITA Mediterranean Street Food

is a much better place for dining out, along with complete transparency in billing customers -- no hidden charges!

To the person in charge of this business: You should be ashamed of yourself not me because I don't steal from anyone, but you steal from me and other customers in disguise. Furthermore, your foods are completely tasteless. Finally, your English and its spelling are...

Oh wow! If you dig hummus, falafels, and a whole boatload of Mediterranean food, then I seriously would recommend this based on a first time experience. They did mess our order up but I'll hold them to their word... But the food was delicious and the counter server was able to advise us to a good first timer meal. Be forewarned, the charge 3.5% for using a credit card.

Other notable things include a bar/hookah lounge on the left which is separated from the rest of the establishment if you are apprehensive about bringing children with an open mind for trying new foods. On the other side of the eatery is a small grocery that sells stuff my daughter likes (I never went in that way but she came back out holding some snacks that I was able to read the ingredients list as to nearly understand all of the components!

Definitely coming back to try more stuff! Oh, and baklava! Mediterranean...

Some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. The kabobs are marinated and full of flavor, charred and yet still tender enough to chew. They are served with a garlic sauce that is out of this world. You can taste the tahini in the hummus and the pita is the traditional thin, chewy kind with a pocket. The falafels are crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside and the tahini sauce served with them is a wonderful creamy compliment. The baklava is flaky on top and a chewy, candy-like on the bottom from the honey sauce. It is topped with chopped pistachios. I've eaten at many Greek and Lebanese restaurants in several states. This one is the best to date.
