Still a great place to practice. Unfortunately the course is still closed,so it'll be a mirage every time driving by on the 605,seeing it wide open greens getting watered, what a tease. However the putting greens, driving range and chipping areas are open. Hours are until 8pm. Cool format and I think best deal/value around. To use the range, you pay for the amount you want,I went for the 105/125 balls at $10.50. I may be wrong on the amount of balls I'm old and forget things. However, you'll get a preloaded card to use. You can stop anytime for the amount of balls used,so you don't have to use them all at once. The putting greens are in decent shape, the only draw back, for me,is the amount of gnats. In the evening they're relentlessly in your face,so don't laugh or talk to much. It made it difficult to focus on the putt with the constant shooing, but if you don't mind or have some bug repellent you'll be fine. Big honeysuckle tree makes it smell...
Read moreThere is only one thing to say about this golf course, it is beautiful. The course is great and well maintained. There are two big putting greens and the driving range is good with a lot of hitting mats. It's a very forgiving course with pretty big fairways and greens. The greens are a little fast but very playable. The two lakes are nice and playing the 9th hole between them is awesome. I like the two driving holes mixed in with the other 7 Par 3 holes. The staff was friendly and there is plenty of parking. You do have to call ahead of time to reserve a tee time, the course was fully booked...
Read moreThis was almost a 5/4 star review but one of the cart employees today was just very rude on our last hole. He was rushing us by gawking & staring during our last hole as if to push us out. Some old man on a cart. It was an almost perfect day on the course but that employee just very much ruined the last few min on course & it was just a terrible. My dad felt embarrassed to keep playing & opt out of the last hole because the old man was literally following so close with his cart. Such a...
