Del Taco — Restaurant in Norwalk

This is a typically very busy Del Taco, given it's proximaty to the freeway, and the surroundings, it attracts a variety of customers, few of whom live near by and most are passing through, with an occasional "homeless" transient. Tonight was no exception. The parking lot was packed with the drive thru line monopolizing the space so I parked in the only spot I could access and went inside. There were a handful of people inside, including an unbathed and disgusting homeless man in his late 40's who was uncomfortably close to the register and soda fountain. I didn't wait too long, thought longer than expected, to order, given the crew size and the line (no one). After a few minutes I got my food and left. Rating....3. Not great but not bad. Not a place I'd ever go out of my way for. Everything...

Went around 7 or 8 pm. The drive thu was long, so I decided to walk in. There was no customer waiting in line inside. No employee acknowledged us when we walked to the counter. I saw that there were only 2 workers manning the restaurant. I waited maybe 3 to 5 minutes before one of them said anything to me. I also noticed that one employee was on break eating in the dining area. We ordered our food and waited a little while not too bad for only having 3 employees. Got our food and left, but he did make sure I had everything and that I didn't need anything else before he let us leave with our food. Service was not very welcoming, but I get it. This Del Taco has the worst customer service ever. We stopped by on our way to the airport for a quick and FAST bite and we were surprised with a 30 minute wait when we were the only car in the drive thru.

The crew were busy talking to each other and completely ignored the fact that we were waiting for our food.

We finally had to ask the crew for our food and the guy at the window was very rude.

As we made our way around the building another crew member held the main entrance door open and was yelling at us "Go watch the super bowl and be careful on your drive to the airport."

To add salt to the wound the flour tortillas were cold and the French fries were old as if they hey had been sitting under the food warmer for...
