Discovered Giggles a few months ago and it instantly became our toddlers' favorite place to play!
It's specifically for little ones (under 6 years), which has been one of the hardest things to find since most similar places seem to always have at least a few of much bigger kids / tweens / teens running around or being wild, not paying attention, and mowing down little kids--not a problem we've encountered once at Giggles so far. And the space is open-concept, designed for parents to either easily keep an eye on their kids from various sitting areas in or around the room, or better yet, actually be able to actually play and interact with them WITHOUT having to climb an obstacle course or squeeze through little tunnels lol.
They've got a little bit of pretty much everything for the kiddos to play with, including lots of climbing structures, different kinds of slides, a 'tree house' with hammocks, a tire swing, cars & trikes, 'career stations' (doctor's office, home kitchen, marketplace)--and of course our tykes' favorite: a long, fully-enclosed run of 3 large connected trampolines in the back. If you've got infants, they've even got a dedicated area in the back with baby toys, mini-slides, and a changing room. And while we haven't done a birthday here yet, they have a closed-off seating / eating area along the side and private room that can be booked for parties and stuff.
The pricing would be great for even half the stuff they have, so we never feel like we're losing out even if we can only make it for 20-30 minutes, which means a lot more opportunities to go overall. And it rarely feels crowded; plenty of space for the little ones and their adults without feeling like we're getting in the way or fighting over toys.
Last but not least, the staff has been absolutely incredible! We've met a handful of the crew, along with I think the owners, and have been so impressed with their friendliness and generosity every single time. They do a great job keeping the place clean and tidy (a Sisyphean task in a place like this), resetting all the various stations every night for the kids to go nuts on the next morning.
Overall, if you've got little ones under 6 and are looking for a great, safe place for them to get creative, burn some energy, and have a blast doing it, Giggles should be at the top of...
Read moreWe had our daughters second birthday party here on a Saturday and to begin, you would think they limit the amount of kids playing because it was incredibly busy. Most of the things my daughter wanted to play with were swarming with rude kids or taken so she didn’t get to enjoy the space until after her party ended. We reserved the room for the birthday party and to begin when we arrived and started setting up this kid confined to come in and out of the room shoving past my guests and I had multiple guests commenting on this and the door to the room is right past the check in counter so I was frustrated and went to comment about this to the girls behind the counter and they were both sitting on their phones not even paying attention and the parent was nowhere to be found. The biggest complaint I have is the service, we ran behind on time so when our two hours we reserved were up we were still in the middle of opening gifts and not even one minute past our reservation, actually it was one minute before our reservation ended one of the ladies popped her head in the room and yelled in front of everyone in the room (didn’t even pull me or my husband aside) to discuss this like a normal decent person would do asking if we wanted to reserve more time and asked if we wanted to do a half hour or an hour and everyone stopped and looked at her in the middle of my daughter opening gifts and had to wait until we gave an answer because she so rudely shouted it across the room. So incredibly rude and so embarrassing! The last thing that ticked me off was after our extended reservation time it was about 3 minutes before we were out of time and cleaning up and they came in with trash bags and just started cleaning up around us while we were saying goodbye and almost rushing us out of the room. $280 for just a room and rude customer service, would never have a birthday party here again and it reeked of dirty diapers had multiple guests at my party who had kids continually checking their kids for poopy diapers because they thought it was theirs and the door was shut to our room! Gross! Wouldn’t recommend unless they are just...
Read moreWhat a hidden gem! My almost 4 year old son and I needed to get out of the house but the weather makes anything outside unbearable. I took to Google, found this little place called Giggles, and we gave it a try.
From the outside it's a simple glass fronted store in a strip mall, but once you're inside it's like a different world. The staff greeted me AND my son, which immediately made me smile. We were asked if it was our first time, then given a quick rundown of the place. One thing to be aware of: they require grip socks for the littles which can be purchased for $2 if you don't have any.
The play area is big and open with areas for racing, climbing, eating, and running around. The average age was about 3 today and the staff said they occasionally get older kids up to 6 years old. All the parents seemed much more friendly and willing to mingle than at other places we've tried out. The 3 part trampoline area was pretty cool, my son had a ton of fun in there. My only small criticism would be the toys, most were missing parts and there weren't a lot, this can be difficult with a toddler who is still learning the fine art of sharing.
My favorite mommy things were being able to bring our own snacks and being able to see the entire area from any vantage point. They do offer food and drinks, with an area set aside for eating complete with microwave and seating area which was cleaned and maintained throughout the whole time we were there.
If you're looking for fun and have around $11 this place should be on your list, we'll be going...
