Hoopes Park — Attraction in Chandler

This park has been here for many years and has never been upgraded. It needs to have rest rooms added and more benches for parents/grandparents to relax on while their children/grandchildren play on the playground with shade available for the seating. Might also be nice to have a couple of more picnic table areas as well.

It wasn’t the best parking but I went later and I used the school parking. My dog and I couldn’t find the gated dog park if there was one or not. So we walked the path with joggers and there was others there playing something but since it was late 9:00’9:30pm there was no kids there. The three pavilions had no one sitting under and no one at playground equipment. It did look clean and well kept. Had a functioning water fountain to my relief. Such a fun little community park with a covered playground. We used to live on Palomino so this was our fave park since we could walk there. Basketball courts, lots of sidewalk and tons of grass. We still come here when we are in the area. If you're lucky you can catch the sprinklers on during the summer which is the best! But just know there are NO BATHROOMS.
