Lush Cosmetics Chandler Fashion Center — Attraction in Chandler

It's really unfortunate when, as a beauty company, you give the opportunity to demonstrate products that are meant to be relaxing for customers and one of your sales people has warts covering both of their hands. How am I supposed to react to a hand massage from them as a first-time customer who's told that Lush had amazing skin care and body products? Uncomfortable? Yes. Disappointed? Absolutely.

Even so, a friend convinced me to go back with her after I had decided not to shop there. After using one of their bath bombs I was really happy with how my skin felt and how I felt, but to be honest I don't even want to go back in the store to buy another because of my first experience there.

The worst part is that he still works for Lush. I love the idea of going in to smell products before I buy anything so I don't want to shop online but I feel far too uncomfortable going in-store with him there. I don't hold anything against any employees but if Lush wants to be successful in promoting skin care this is something they'll...

I am a long time user of Lush products, but will not be returning to this location. Every time that I shop here I am hounded by employees who will not leave me alone for more than a minute (even when I ask them to and let them know I will ask them if I need anything). They also focus more on upselling products (i.e. suggesting that you use multiple expensive products in the same bath - who needs a $30 bath?!), as opposed to finding out what you actually came in for, and helping you with that. This time it was frustrating enough to where I left without purchasing some of the items that I had planned to, and the one item that I did purchase was the only Lush item I've ever had that was poor quality. It was a bubble bar that turned out to be rock hard, never fully dissolved in the water, and had next to no...

The customer service was next level.

As someone who has been in hospitality and customer service, I can tell that they balance very well between passion and knowledge about the products as well as being personable and friendly.

I always enjoy coming to this location specifically for this reason. (The Scottsdale location is excellent for when you want to buy in bulk) But in regards to having questions and trying new things out of your comfort zone, there is a no judgment atmosphere that is exceptional.

All lush stores seem to have kindness & acceptance as part of their brand. (You can see this in their products too)
