China Max — Restaurant in Charleston

The food was okay. Not what I was expecting but, I’ve been gone from the area for a while. The General Tso’s chicken was tasty but, the noodles and chicken were dry. The Chicken Teriyaki was drier as a whole. I ended up sharing mine and taking my fiancé’s home to eat later. I will try again but, inquire about the freshness of the food. Worst mall “Chinese food” I’ve ever had. Nothing was edible. The chicken looked like chili and tasted like a burnt long john silvers crispy, the noodles had no flavor and the egg rolls were hard as a rock. Anyone saying this is even decent food needs to travel outside of the Charleston area. I threw the whole meal in the trash where it belongs.

My husband and I were sitting in the food court eating and this restaurant was directly in my view. It was a Tuesday so the food court was not as busy as normal.
