Freedom Park Demonstration Garden — Attraction in Charlotte

Freedom Park is a great place to visit! I love bringing my dog here to walk the trails. There are parks and playgrounds for kids, spaces to throw a football around, and lots of walking space. This is also a great place to bring visitors from out of town. The park is beautiful and always has lots of visitors. There are nearby tennis courts as well. I have never had an issue...

Beautiful park. Clean bathrooms. However, most of the interactive pieces on the main playground are broken. One of the slides have caution tape on it. The timer for the panthers obstacle course doesn't work. The broken slide is unsafe so a star was taken off for that and the broken pieces just need to be fixed. But it is a beautiful park with tons of walking...

The park gardens always show signs of living botanicals, even in the colder weather. All life cycles through seasons! Right now the gardens are resting and regenerating, some underground network of many roots and seeds that will wait patiently through the winter for warm weather.
