From the moment I walked into ISI Elite Training in Charlotte Dilworth, I was welcomed with energy, excellence, and intentionality. The doors were open, the branded mat at the entrance set the tone, and every detail inside the studio—from the wall visuals to the front desk setup—was on-brand and professionally executed.
The staff greeted me immediately with warmth. Brittany provided a quick but thorough tour, introducing me to the layout, kids’ center, locker area, and studio. I was also offered a complimentary pre-workout (“Human” – Strawberry Margarita flavor), which was a thoughtful and energizing touch.
Coach Vinny led the session, and his coaching presence was outstanding. He projected confidence, motivation, and clarity. With nearly 20 people in the class, he managed to provide individualized attention while maintaining the momentum and energy of the room. His ability to coach 360 degrees—correcting form, high-fiving members, engaging everyone by name—was genuinely impressive. He owned that turf.
The programming itself was challenging and well-structured. The format, music, lighting, and overall vibe made it feel like a true training experience. One of the most memorable touches was the end of class: a moment to pause and reflect on something you’re thankful for, followed by a cool-down with a lightly scented cold towel. This attention to both physical and mental performance was next-level.
What stood out most was the community. New members were recognized by name, celebrated in a post-workout photo, and made to feel like part of the team from the beginning. It was authentic, uplifting, and inspiring. I also appreciated the efficient onboarding process—waiver and contact info capture were seamless—and the follow-up was equally strong. I received a kind, personalized message from both the Owner and Facilities Manager shortly after the session, which speaks volumes about the culture of care.
ISI Elite Training in Charlotte Dilworth is not just a gym—it’s a leadership-driven, community-focused, values-based experience. The brand’s roots in Proverbs 27:17 (“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”) are not just printed—they're lived out in every interaction. It was an outstanding first experience, and I look forward to continuing the journey.

Read moreA little background: I've never been into body building or running marathons, but I do like to lift weights and do high intensity interval training. My fitness goals are to be functionally fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I used to workout at the Y regularly and then I tried F45 and just could never get into it (nothing against either, just wasn't for me).
A year ago my best friend invited me to go to a session at ISI Dilworth and it has been one of the best decisions that I have made for myself. The staff was so friendly and made me feel like part of the team from the moment I walked in. They only asked me my name once and then the entire staff new my name and made an effort to make me feel included from my very first session. All the coaches really push you throughout the sessions but they modify exercises for you if you have injuries. Every session is different so it never feels repetitive. There is a heavy focus on high intensity interval training but you can modify the different stations to go with higher weight and lower reps or vice versa. The sessions are 50 minutes long and you can sign up for sessions on their app up to a week in advance. The community of people is so welcoming and I've met some really great friends through ISI. I really can't say enough about the staff. They are a really special group of people that treat you like a friend and not a customer. Great coaches, great staff, great workouts. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has tried orange theory, F45, crossfit, or other group workout classes and left...
Read moreLet me be very clear - I am not a “gym rat.” I don’t wake up each day thinking, “I can’t wait to go to the gym today!” I’m more of a “I’d rather sleep in, eat tacos, and watch the same shows on repeat” type of person. Discipline? Consistency? Not in my vocabulary when it comes to working out. But ISI, and the amazing coaches who work there, have helped me embrace working hard, sweating A LOT, and keeping my focus on a goal. You can never go wrong if you have a class with Vinny. You’ll get it all: positive motivation, encouragement, and dance moves. With Laila? You get a fierce badass who is there to challenge you, encourage you, and support you. With Drew, you have a coach who is willing to work with you, breaking down each move if necessary, ensuring your health, safety, and success. Each coach and staff member takes the time to get to know you personally, check in on how you’re doing, joke with you and celebrate with you, and make you feel so welcomed! I may still suffer from Please-God-Hit-The-Snooze-Button-Seven-More-Times-So-I-Don’t-Have-To-Work-Out “itis,” but ISI and the amazing staff I’ve come to know make me feel more motivated than ever to take my goals seriously, knowing I have a whole crew that has...
