Panda Express — Restaurant in Pineville

The price of 2 entree + 1 side is 17$ + tax. Over priced menu items & portion given is not at all worth 18$. They are closed for employees break from 4pm to 5pm. The size of tray used to serve the dishes is small. There is a huge line of 30 people standing in line because there is only 1 employee taking care of taking order and then the line follows slowly to checkout as well because there is only 1 employee at the checkout counter as well. I wonder how they are not concerned of a huge line of people standing in line to take food and they don't even add additional employee to take care of the rush of people standing in queue to eat food from panda express. It's better to try at other places if you are super hungry because the wait is so long here that your hunger gets killed by starvation by the time you get your food into your hand. Very short staffed place. And there is only 1 person handling the kitchen...

Interesting things you notice when you travel a lot, and eat at many locations of a franchise. This was the most expensive Panda express in a long while. I'm using up gift cards traveling in NC & SC this week. My usual is orange chicken and walnut shrimp with ( not really very) fried rice. The food was factory fresh? and warm-ish. Only two cars in drive-thru but a huge mess inside... Obviously long lines. Obviously understaffed and didn't appear to be anyone in charge. No Team leader. My bill was $2 more than the menu board ( already high) should have been. I didn't notice until after eating, in my car.... Place was too busy to go in and ask -- why--. Okay I've tried both the Panda Express restaurants in the local area and this one the chicken was a little too crunchy one day like it was left over from the previous day I must say that the rice is awesome they're more awesome than the restaurant in Charlotte update August 1st 2018 at 5:40 p.m. I noticed that they clean the glass so you could see the food real thorough cuz before you couldn't see the food you just had to tell him what you wanted and they would give it to you so apparently maybe the boss saw my comment and did some improvements and they should do improvements some of these management people are sitting on their kin and acting like everything's a la di da I'm not going to raise the stars because these people need to be on their business but the...
