Worse Latin Festival EVER!!!!! I was told my 2year old couldn't bring water in. I get it, people try to sneak stuff in but our son had a water cup filled with H20 in HIS HAND!! But the reason volunteer man PEDRO told us was because the "City Ordinance" doesn't allow outside water. Excuse me Charlotte NC but in CLE Ohio (where its COLDER) they allows H20 on "Hot days" because of health reasons. Also, Tony the Facilitator seemed a little overwhelmed with his volunteers. Being a company owner from Ohio makes me not want to do business with Charlotte NC. I choose to stay in NC only because its a grow state. Then after speaking to a volunteer besides Pedro I was informed that the law was created due to health reasons again but found out from Tony that this was not the case. Tony then stated that he would deal with Pedro but I see no action. I would not suggest going to this park spending any money in Charlotte North spending any money with the Latin Festival. I told my family not to visit, I've told my neighbors not to visit, I've told the 1 million people that follow us not to go to your Park have a great day Charlotte hope that you get this...

If you go during the day, bring sun screen and a floppy hat, if you go during the evening, bring bug spray (please don't blast all of those around you too)
Beer and wine is allowed, and thankfully smoking is not allowed anywhere on the lawn. The live music is great, parking can be tight, or far away if you're attending a large event so arrive early or pack light.

The stage is slightly downhill from the lawn, and as such sitting any higher than your butt on the ground, blocks most of the view of the stage for EVERYONE behind you, so please, please just sit on a blanket, if you need a back rest use a low chair like a beach chair, not a fold out camping/sports chair. I attended a Starwars themed concert and the amount of people completely blocking the view of the stage with huge, tall chairs was unbelievable. Please think of others.
I cannot wait to go back and attend the videogame themed concert they will be...
