Unfortunately my recent Trolley Pub experience (04/2024) was disappointing. My friends and I previously did a Trolley Pub back in 2022 and had a 5/5 star experience! This time, it was completely different. Cons- You cannot bring your own alcohol!!!! This is not as clearly stated throughout the website and waiver as it should be!!! Our group brought cases of beers and seltzers that we planned to bring on the Trolley with us, and were told they could not come with us. Instead, we had to buy the same beers and seltzers inside the Tolley Pub store, for more than retail value (Ex: a case of 12 Vizzy's which is typically $14 at our local grocery store was $20). Bar options!!!!! We booked a private tour (meaning we had the entire Trolley booked) and were expecting to have a lot of options to make stops. Instead, we were given a list of 3 bars that we could make for a first, and 3 more bars for a second stop. Originally we requested Hop Fly, which is not on the list. But on the list is Sling Shot, which is literally 600 feet away from Hop Fly. It felt pointless to have booked an entire tour to have fun and celebrate, when we did not even have the luxury of bringing our own alcohol or picking the bars we truly wanted to go to.
