I enjoyed this place. It’s small but great! I saw a review staying there was no doors on the bathroom, so I was skeptical to use the restroom but they do have doors! They also require you to ask front staff for a key, which is great. The restrooms have an area for you to change your baby. I went on a Saturday morning while a friend took a test at the Pearson Testing Center and it was quiet. They have tables and charging stations for laptops and phones. I enjoyed my time here at this library considering it was my first time. 10/10! The lady with the short hair (pixie cut stylish) was very friendly and made you feel welcomed, which was nice since I am not from around here! They do answer phone calls and some people might consider it loudly but this is a library and it’s quiet, so that’s a favor to take into account. I had my headphones on a listened to school videos and had no issues! Thank you to the staff and librarians. This place was clean and it was...
Read moreThis morning their was a computer had glitch on the computer and made me click the "ok" button twice. Well I didn't know it would send the same job twice to the station. Instead, I trusted their systems and just hit "select all jobs" when I went to the librarian and made them aware of the double charges that was over a $1.50 of paper. I was told they don't give refunds and sorry for the inconvenience. I was even debated about this matter as if I didn't know how to print a piece of paper. Being from out of state, I assumed all community libraries to operate the same. If their is a glitch, their is no argument. You simply just get your change credited back to your library account. Not here; I guess. I guess I shouldn't have expected nothing less anyway. It's a library and the librarians are the loudest people in there. I mean libraries are not for people to read or study right? It's very cringe how obtuse people are in...
Read moreIt's nice having access to all of the books in the library system, and the staff at this location is wonderful! We would love to have a nice, fun library to take our kids to. This location is outdated and has the most disappointing children's section of all the libraries we have ever lived near. This is not a place to take your children for library programming or library fun. It would also be nice to actually have a library branch or even a drop box anywhere in the East Brainerd/Tyner areas. This is the closest branch to our home and takes 25-30...
