Gong cha - Cherry Hill Mall — Attraction in Cherry Hill Township

It was my first time trying gong cha and thankfully my last. I asked what they recommend and she said the most popular drink was the bubble tea. So I ordered that and it was disgusting. I asked if I could get something else and she said sure what would you like? I said what’s the seconds most popular drink? She gave it to me and I tried it and it was disgusting again. I mean seriously how do people drink this stuff? When I went back to let her know I didn’t like the 2nd one either she said “then don’t come here”. I asked for a refund and she said no. I checked my card and can you believe she charged me for the 2nd one as well!? I found out she added in a tip after the sale of the first one and charged the exact amount of the drink as a tip. Please take your business elsewhere. Real fruit is also in this mall and it’s amazing. Gong cha? Don’t cha...

Ordered peach green tea with mango popping boba. I’ve came here a few times so I expected it to be as good as the other times. Today, the mango popping boba tasted weird and it didn’t want to pop. It felt wrinkly in my mouth and tasted awful once it popped. I called and told the guys that they are serving old boba. They said “the boba is 5 days old and they need to wait til the 6th day to dump it” that is absolutely disgusting. If someone is calling that something is old, it needs to be dumped immediately. Usually foods and such should be thrown out around the 2-3 day mark. Anything 5 to 6 days old is just ridiculous. I won’t be coming back here again. The guys offered me to come back for another drink for free and I am so disgusted to go there. Highly recommend...

seriously SO GOOD. these guys opened up in the cherry hill mall (by the food court) last month, and my wife and i finally got the chance to go today. we lived in LA for eight years and used to have easy access to good boba...and we were quite disappointed by south jersey's offerings. that has officially changed!

gong cha uses fresh ingredients to make their drinks, including their tea! no powdered mixes here. you can customize your sweetness level and the amount of ice, and you have an impressive list of toppings to choose from! their cheese foam is delicious (perfect salt level with just a touch of sweetness), and their boba is fresh and cooked to perfection!
