Lotus Express — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

So... I almost died eating here.

I had my kids for Christmas and I was about to leave town to take them back to Michigan. My brother asked if I wanted to stop by one last time to say goodbye to him and my niece.

We meet at the mall and he asks if I wanted his leftover rice. I take a bite and it's the best fried rice I have ever had. At this point I start to shovel the remaining rice into my fat mouth... hardly chewing. At this point, I have a huge ball of rice packed in my throat. I can barely breathe.

I go to the closest place to buy something to drink.... I manage to choke out... "Snapple.... Apple..."

The people working there get this panicked look on their faces as I try to drink to get the remaining food down... I start burping and tears of pain come to my eyes as I finally start to breathe right... gulping for air...

I look at the guys that gave me the Snapple and say ..."... ahhh.... Thank... you..." and walk away... the look of absolute horror in their eyes was priceless...

10 out of 10... I'd try to kill myself on that...

Lotus Express at the Cherry Hill Mall has been my go-to spot for Chinese food for years! The food is consistently delicious, and the portions are huge—despite inflation, they still deliver amazing value. I have a peanut allergy, and I remember when I couldn’t eat there as a kid due to their use of peanut oil. About a year later, the owner remembered me and told me they no longer cook with peanut oil, and I’ve been enjoying their food ever since. The care and attention to customers is unmatched, and I can always count on them for a flavorful, satisfying meal....

On 4/11/35 I purchased 1 egg roll 2 chicken combos. When I got home to est the food tasted HORRIBLE! I haven't eaten there in years and it has gone downhill. The bourbon chicken was tough, the spicy chicken tasted and looked weird and the general tsao chicken was flavorless. I called up there to complain 3x and got a recording saying my call could not be completed as dialed. It was disgusting idk who the cook is today but they need to be...
