Very impressed with The Capital Grille food options. As this was my first time dining at this restaurant, I was eager to try a little of everything on the menu, but I did behave myself a little. For appetizers, we ordered the calamari and the lobster and crab cake. These were both absolutely delicious. The hot peppers were such a wonderful add to the calamari and the lobster and crab cake was to die for. Definitely one of the most tasteful lobster and crab cakes I ever had. We also ordered the lobster bisque soup which was a special for the night and the French onion soup. Both were delicious; however, if I ever get the chance to order the lobster bisque again, that will be the option I go with. The large pieces of lobster filled every spoonful. Absolutely my favorite part of the night. For our main course, I ordered the bone-in ribeye with balsamic and my wife ordered the filet mignon. As this restaurant is known for their steaks, I was slightly underwhelmed with the toughness of both steaks. We ordered them medium but felt it was closer to the well-done side. The edges of the filet mignon were very tough which did not give us the soft, buttery texture we typically expect from such a cut. I recommend going rare in the future to ensure the cut is softer and juicier. Along with our dinner, we ordered the parmesan fries and the au gratin potatoes. Honestly, at this point, we were way too filled to truly enjoy these sides. I tasted them slightly and they had a nice taste and texture. Definitely want to go again and try another steak option, but will definitely go rare for a better tasting cut. Highly recommend to meat lovers. Portions are unbelievably larger than anticipated, so be sure to go on an empty stomach.

We've been to the restaurant twice now and both times were excellent. The service is superb - staff is attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our server suggested work pairings that were excellent. She was able to suggest wines based on our described palettes. We ordered the beet salad as an appetizer. While waiting for the salad we enjoyed warm bread that was clearly freshly baked. The goat cheese on the beet salad just melts in your mouth! We had this both times we've visited, and dreamed about it in between visits! For the main course, we have sampled a few different options and for all of them the beef was excellent. If you like lobster but don't enjoy fighting with the tails, I highly recommend seared tenderloin with butter poached lobster tails. They're not in the shell. One tiny thing to note is that we both felt that the filet mignon dish, while classically perfect and simple, it may have benefited from some type of light sauce on the side or maybe a bit of butter. It was still excellent because of the perfect way it was cooked. If you're great I'd set in filet mignon, I'd recommend the sliced filet mignon. It comes with cipollini onions and wild mushrooms with a fig sauce. Even though it's sliced, the beef is still moist and flavorful. To end our evening we had the creme brulee and it did not disappoint. The caramelization on top was perfection and the rest was light and not too sweet.

We were greeted the moment we walked into the fancy entrance by a group of hosts who were extremely professional and courteous. Everyone was dressed with class and served the same way. Our server knew the menu inside and out and was so fun and hospitable. Our bus boy was top notch. He never let our water drop below half of a glass and the minute our plates were empty with each course he immediately grabbed them out of the way. I knew we were in for a good meal when we got the bread on the table. It was warm fresh and amazing. We got the tuna appetizer and the prosciutto wrapped mozz. Both very flavorful. I got the goat cheese salad and my husband chose the lobster bisque. Excellent second course. Our main meals were the aged ribeye & the lamb chops. Everything perfectly prepared and the double cut lamb chops cut like butter. Sauce was unbelievable. We also got the au gratin potatoes and the Brussels. We could not complete our meals. So much food. In the beginning of our experience our waitress asked if we were celebrating anything and we told her it was our anniversary last week. When we ordered our coffee she brought out a complimentary dessert - so sweet. We will definitely return but will most likely order less. Great evening.

Dinner at the Capital Grille was enjoyable and met my expectations for a steakhouse meal. The food was delicious and prepared well (aka correct meat temperatures). The menu had all of the steaks, seafood, and sides that you would expect to order. Our server was very friendly and did a great job. The location of this particular restaurant is on the western grounds of the Cherry Hill Mall. There is a large, free, parking garage right behind the resturant. The resturant was busy when we went with a short wait even for people with reservations, but not unexpected for a Saturday night at such a populated area. The only reasons this wasnt a perfect 5 star review were atmosphere and price. Our dinner table was seated in a busy area by the bar and entrance rather than a main restaurant room, which is fine - it is a busy place and you have to fit tables everywhere you can, but a very different dine in experience. Just made it feel like a cheaper chain resturant rather than a fine steakhouse. The bill amount was expected, but for 3 people to spend close to $500 after a 20% tip with only one round of drinks, it is nice to have at least one wow factor in the meal. I would absolutely eat here again when I am in the area and wanting traditional steakhouse food.

I have never been here before. The cherry hill mall is a staple if your from south jersey and Philadelphia. My spouse surprised me with dinner on my birthday.I had knee surgery and also caught covid really bad and this really was an unexpected pick me up for my spirit! We pulled up and I said no you didn't! Though under dressed (I can't really get dressed up due to knee surgery) my waiter was phenomenal,he had the right amount of professionalism and humor and knew exactly what I needed pertaining to the correct wine for my palette thar would accompany my main course. My brother/bestfreind also attended (in the picture) and loved the dinner as well.We both had the lamb and OMGGGGGG it was cooked to perfection.I ordered my lamb medium rare accompanied with a red merlot! My appetizer was fried lobster with a butter sauce, and for me enjoying that was something because I am not a lobster fanatic,I enjoy crab & shrimp. This is a nice place to eat especially for a 1st date if your interested in impressing your date!

So Eddie V’s didn’t have availability for a large party of 10 on a Friday night which led my sister-in-law to choose Capital. I was ecstatic when I got the news because Capital CH is a gem. They offer complementary valet parking, so no frustrations trying to find parking at a busy evening at the Cherry Hill mall. Immediately when we walked in, the staff were full of smiles and ready to serve us. Our party was for once on time and they quickly sat us down. I ordered a NY Strip, (I should have got bone in for added taste but that’s another story), and my lady ordered the sea bass. Whoa, the buttery sauce on her dish made me regret my order, but my dish was good nonetheless. Our waitress Nicole was very accommodating, and preformed like a season vet serving our large party. We celebrated 3 birthdays, and Capital, made sure to bring our deserts for each individual. Overall, it was a great experience. Capital delivered, and knew the assignment, to assist in making great family memories.
