Happy Feet Massage Spa — Attraction in Chesapeake

The massage I got was HORRIBLE! I am an easy going person, who never complains but seriously it was horrible. I've had deep tissue massages in the past. She asked the pressure I wanted and I said light to medium. It was definitely hard and I asked her to go easier. She was pushing so hard my whole body was moving, I asked her to stop, she would for a minute or so, then would go right back to it. I had to ask her several times to go easier. She pulled my arm back and at an angle in a way that was not at all therapeutic or relaxing and actually ended up hurting during and after the massage. Also, I guess it is customary here to move the table you are laying during the massage (literally scraping the floor like moving a school desk on a classroom floor). Like maybe angle the beds if it's too tight of quarters? Rather than screeching on the floor during a relaxing time, I don't know.

In addition to the roughness of the massage was the facility. Blankets are rough in quality and their movements during the massage were choppy, abrupt, and not at all in consideration of your experience. Often times leaving parts of you uncovered that are not being massaged causing you to feel cold. This is on top of fact that there are no rooms here, just partition walls erected with curtains for doors leaving you to hear everything from conversations to other customers walking in the front door and EVERYTHING in between. It was very difficult to relax let alone enjoy the experience being half naked, cold, and feeling like a slab of meat with no privacy at the touch of the "masseuses" here.

I am not sure where all these good reviews are from, whether they are from unscrupulous sources or the quality difference is from changing staff, but I will not be returning or ever...

I booked a 60min massage and 30 min Reflexology session. It was loud because they don't have individual ceilings, only walls and curtains between each room and then the main ceiling. So every time another client started or ended a service, I could hear the full conversation. I did not tell the therapist that I teach massage and Reflexology. When she started, she was using one hand for a few minutes. I popped my head up and she was texting on her phone. She apologized. The rest of the body massage was good. However, she did not do reflexology on my feet at all. She just did a regular 30 relaxation foot massage. I don't complain while I was there and paid full price because I don't live there and didn't want a coupon or discount. I just want others to know my experience. Edit to answer the owner: I was your first appt at 9:30 on Sunday, May 25th 2025. I'm the lady who was waiting outside for you guys to open. I could hear that there were 2 lady friends, a man, a lady and a pregnant lady who came in after me. I was in a room on the left, the 2nd room I believe. I don't remember the therapist name. Afterwards I paid and talked to the pregnant lady at the front desk who said she was part owner. I can call tomorrow and give you my payment info to find my ticket. And yes, more private rooms would be great. I could even hear a client snoring. But that didn't bother me at all, he...

I have been here several times and never had an issue. Today September 30th was not so great. I booked for a 90 minute foot reflexology start time 3:00pm. I didn’t get to the back until 3:20pm. After I got to the back they didn’t start soaking my feet until 3:30pm. Then the young lady that did my massage was the same young lady covering the front desk and checking people out for payments. She literally got up from servicing me at least 3 times during the duration of my massage. Not only that but she was literally texting and talking on her cellphone the ENTIRE time (she had one of those ear buds in). Instead of using two hands she used one hand to massage my feet and the other hand to text. I literally watched her the entire time wishing she would stop. After all, I am paying for a service. When I tried to tune out her conversations and close my eyes to try to relax, someone bursts into my room and they started to talk to each other. I could not relax whatsoever.
