What a disappointment, arrived for a early lunch..waited over 15 minutes to just be seated ( there was only 1 older lady waiting to get sat) so the wait was ridiculous.. the table was filthy and the floor looked like it was dirtier than a plate with so much grime and food, crumb's ect..if my grandchildren hadn't been so hungry I would had turned around and walked out.. the only reprieve was our waitress she appeared to be 1 of 2 server's.. how crazy is that? The kids food was chicken tenders & fries I tasted and they were good.. my bacon omelette was not much to be desired, tasteless and the cheese was gritty tasting..nasty and I could not eat it. The home-fries were the best & only edible thing on my plate..the cheese-steak was ok..but fries cold ..but the most disgusting thing that happened was the unsanitary drinks, I had sweet tea, and my grandkids had the blue berry lemonade, and strawberry lemonade..I kept seeing what I thought was gnats in all 3 drinks but was actually black moldy specks in all our ice..I inspected the ice and told the kids to not drink anymore.. at that point I just wanted to leave and prayed we wouldn't get sick from the black moldy ice.. I am definitely reporting this IHOP to the better business bureau.. and VA health inspector's..if they want to jeopardize my and my son & grandchildren's health there in for a rude awakening.. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy..the only bright spot was the server who spoke kindly and seemed frazzled which obviously she cannot control the cooks nor the unsanitary place when she is serving at least 8 other tables practically alone..I want to think that if she knew about the ice she wouldn't had served it..for she spoke so friendly that I'm sure she didn't know..all the same avoid this horrible excuse of an IHOP save your money also for I spent an arm an leg for 2 children's meals,a breakfast meal with a sandwich cost before tip almost 75 bucks that's robbery they should had been paying me for the cruddy experience, gross food and sickening drinks..I'll never return and recommend if you don't want to experience the same you also not come here..( BTW the bathroom is so gross I literally walked out without using it, it looked like feces was spread on the stall wall side's, the entire floor sticky there was garbage all over the bathroom and it smelled uncalled...
Read moreComplete disrespect! We had a curbside order with an arrival time off 11:22, I arrived at 11:29 called and checked in. At the time of my phone call I was informed that, my food was not ready and they will bring it out to me when it was ready. I sat in the parking lot for about 20 mins before calling back just to be told “oh your food has been ready.” A young man brings my food out to me and it is COLD. When I ask him what happened, he tells me “they probably forgot about you man.” I immediately call back inside and ask to speak to a manager. The young lady who answered the phone informs me the manager is busy and said to take a message. After asking for the managers name, Laura, and the corporate number (still have not received that), she takes the phone from the young lady and proceeds to argue with me that I have not been outside nor did I call to check in. After explaining that I have the call logs to show I’ve called and have been patiently waiting outside which I’m sure your cameras can see, she hangs up on me and storms outside. When Laura arrived to my car clearly mad, she immediately starts arguing with me that she knew I just pulled up and im trying to get free food but that’s not going to happen, hand her back the food and she will remake it. After showing this very disrespectful manager my call log she continued to stick to the notion that she did not see my car there and she still feels like I just pulled up. I declined her offer to remake my food due to her very displeasing disposition, I did not trust that the ingredients from the original recipe would be the only ingredients in my food. I would like a member of upper management or corporate to reach out to me regarding this. I am also a store manager for my company and if I reacted to a paying customer the way that Laura did I...
Read moreAfter tonight, we will never come back to this location. Around 5:30, my husband and I walked in the building for a dinner since I've been cooped up in the house from surgery days ago. There was MAYBE 3 tables of customers so it was NOT busy. We waited for a few minutes to even be acknowledged and seated. Our "waitress" comes over, grabs 2 menus and seats us. She did not even say who she was. She just stood there with her hands behind her back. I asked for a pepsi, she said "we're out". My husband asked what other drinks were available and she seemed to have an attitude when she was telling us. Then comes the ordering of our meals. I ordered Country fried steak and asked if I could have corn beef hash as a side. She said " we don't have that. I don't think we have it. I can go ask". I said please do. My husband wanted a T-bone. She said "we're out". She takes his order and repeats it back to him and it's wrong. Eventually our food comes out and my husband's food is burnt and my order is missing cheese. A lady, who I assume is the manager, sees my facial expression and comes to our table. I tell her everything. As I said the waitress had an attitude, my husband sees her (the waitress) roll her eyes. My husband's food gets brought back to be fixed and about 10 minutes later, the manager approaches us and gave us 2 options. Option 1, our whole meal is comped and we finish what we already have or option 2, we can wait for his food. By this point, we were not at all happy so we chose option 1. I will say, the manager was extremely nice throughout the whole ordeal so my complaint is NOT towards her. She needs to be praised. It was our waitress and the fact that they barely had anyone working that...
