My sister and I was left standing in the line for over 20 minutes while this skinny black dude with glasses kept running back and forth exchanging This Woman's cheese that was in front of me! It was something wrong with her cheese and he went back about 2 or 3 times getting her different types of cheeses trying to ring it up right and we were left standing in the line with over $100 worth of food I just got off from work my feet hurt I'm tired I did not feel like taking all that food off the counter put it in the cart and going To another line they should have addressed us and let us know what was going instead they TOTALLY disregarded us which made us even more irritated with the fact that we were standing there with all this food not being addressed and they're just switching out cheese it seemed so trivial to leave us standing there over some cheese it was horribly asinine! therefore what we did was walkout leaving all of that food on the counter so not only did they have to put away all that food but they also missed out on a sale ....We're taking our business to Walmart which is what we should have done in the first place! that was the worst service We've ever gotten in a grocery store in our entire lives and over CHEESE!! I'm pretty sure it was more to this than what it appeared to be but maybe if we were address or not being disregarded we could have been made known what was going on instead of just left standing there like we were invisible ...We live nearby however based on the service we received tonight or lack there of we will not be going back! We will take our business to Walmart down the street from here on out!!! My sister plans to do a review as well so be prepared to get another POOR review based on the treatment you subjected us to this...
Read moreI will never shop online (or in person) at this Foodlion again. Sooo....I ordered some extra groceries for Sunday dinner with a bottle of wine. Cool. I sent two people (who were 22 years of age) to pick up the items for me because I was at home with a newborn baby. When they called the number on the sign for the pickup they were hung up on before they had the chance to say what spot he was in etc (as this information was asked of them). When an associate got to their car they were told that they could NOT get the groceries because the order contained an adult beverage............but...... their website clearly states that you OR THE PERSON DESIGNATED FOR PICKUP are required to have an ID at pickup. If this is not a true statement REMOVE IT from your website because that is very misleading.They both had IDs and informed the associate who approached their car of this. THEN...the associate tells them that I need to send a picture of my ID...COOL....soo...I DID THAT....front and back as asked....just for them to be told that they COULD NOT give them the items that I paid for. When I called the store to speak to someone about this issue I heard a lady (real snooty-like) say to the associate that I was on the phone with "oh I already cancelled that order". If that is the case....when will I be receiving my refund? She should've been as quick to refund my funds as they were to go against their own policy and cancel my...
